I make my own trade points and am going to use this to wrap the shaft and pine pitch to secure them. From what I have seen from other friends using it, it does well.

I have been building new bow strings for my long bows with great success ,I twist it with otherbow string material. The strength is great and the loo is fantastic well worth the money
