I make my own trade points and am going to use this to wrap the shaft and pine pitch to secure them. From what I have seen from other friends using it, it does well.

We don't have any specific test but the 100 LBS is 100 LBS the diameter very s its flat and wider from one side to the other , We deliver internationally on a daily basis .
Yes you can split these down to smaller threads. If strength is not a factor then you can go with any of the weights.

We no longer have the 1/2# spool size and now only carry the 1/4# spools.
