Prior to ordering the glove I measured my hand as instructed by website. I ordered the indicated size (L). The glove I received was label by Bearpaw as size large. However, I could not get it onto my hand. Either the glove was mislabeled, or they simply run small. Returned the glove and requested exchange for size XL. I hope it fits better.

To small for big hands

The glove is well made and looks like it would hold up in hard use.Unfortunately I have large hands and the xl size seems like a large size. If you have smaller hands this would be a great glove for you.

Solid Glove

I shoot soft targets with this glove on, I plan on going on a bow hunt in the future and I will most likely be wearing this glove. The glove I received was a bit tight around the pinky side of my wrist to the point that the stitching was 1/3 of the way to my palm, "squishing" my hand some. However, since then the glove has stretched and while its not perfect, it no longer "squishes" read more my hand. I would probably buy a size up next time to solve that. Or maybe the glove just needed a break in period. Other than that the glove feels nice, the arrow slides off of it smoothly, and it protects your hand in the process. The one downside to wearing the glove, is it makes my hand sweat over time, but it does not make the glove on the outside slippery or moist etc.

I would buy again

I just started in traditional Archery, and am very glad that I found Three Rivers.I purchase a bow glove to wear on my right hand to help me hang on to a Martin Recurve.I'm naturaly right handed, but have Macular degeneration in my right eye,so wa-la I've become a lefty at the age of 54.The bow glove serves it intended purpose as I planned.I have plans for a modification, that I'll read more share on a forum in the future. The bow glove is quality thru and thru, soft and flexible very comfortable to wear.I would reccomend it for shooting any type bow {not just primitive with no rest}.

A really good quality item!

The bow glove is a really good item! Since I only like to use primitive type bows where you shoot off the back of the hand, it's really usefull. Too often I've been out shooting and I've had to stop because the fletching whould be making my hand raw - but that's not a problem now! :D

Worth the money

I use this glove when I'm target shooting and it provides great protection to my bow hand. I shoot a 85# Yew English Longbow. I have no complaints with this product.

Comfortable and Practical

This glove is a must have for the archer using a primitive bow that does not have an arrow rest. The first dozen arrows I put over the glove tore at it a bit which means my hand would have been a mess. I put some fletching glue on the front point of the feathers to help smooth things out a little bit as well. The glove doesn't heat up my hand and is very soft and comfortable. Don't read more know how long it will stand up to the constant slashing of the feathers.

This is a outstanding Glove Thanks

I personally go smaller on leather gloves and stretch them to fit. So I would go with a large and wear it to break in.
