Very good glove
Great glove I've been shooting with this glove for months now and I really like it very good quality you can feel the string realse smooth. very nice
After about 40 shots gloves showed wear .
after about 40 shots gloves wear. may be good for low poundage bows
Comfortable glove but unsuitable for draw weight above 40#
Bought this glove based on reviews and 3River's reputation. First glove arrived with a broken seem fresh out of the box. This was a red flag because it should never have passed inspection. I returned the glove and 3river promptly sent me a new one. Took it out to the range and within 20 minutes of use, the leather on the middle finger began flaking and peeling off. I really love… read more how the glove fit and felt, I just really really wished it was made of more durable leather where it counts.
Nice glove for low poundage bows.
Great glove for light poundage bow.
High quality and comfortable, soft tips
This is a high quality product of beautiful soft leather and extremely comfortable. The tips enable you to really feel the string and helps give you that perfect release. This is the second glove I have owned, as I simply wore out the first one---- but it took a long time. If you shoot a heavy bow and need real finger tip protection, then perhaps this isn't the right glove for you.I… read more love it and will buy another one when necessary.
Thin in the fingers
I have used this glove 3 times now going out target shooting. From the very first arrow that I shot my fingers were already tender.....the rest of the glove is great and has good quality, I am bummed that I spent that much on a glove that I will let someone else borrow.
So far loving every bit of it.
Leather is holding really well so far granted that i only shot with about 4 times for about an 1 - 2 hours. But very comfortable.
Comfortable but thin at fingertips
Not as protective as hoped.
Good glove overall
I really enjoy shooting my HH Wesley Special w/this glove, however I've noticed that after about 500 shots the leather on the glove is already beginning to wear out. I'm shooting a 55# longbow
Nice product
fit was accurate.smooth release haven't had it long enough to determine durability. love it so far hope it lasts
The velcro does not go across the thumb , it goes around the wrist.
The Berlin Style Deerskin glove is the perfect upgrade as it have thicker leather so that it does not stretch out as much when broken in.
Generally if you wear a large work or snow glove then you would need to go with the large.
We no longer carry the yellow ones.
It sounds like the Large should fit.
I'm not sure about dress glove sizes but i ware a large work glove and a med. is to tight. I got the large and it fits good. The palm is a little long after getting broke in but it works fine. I've used it now for about 3 years.
Yes, this is a very good glove. It's a real soft leather, but holds up well (even with the heavier poundage bows).
I think it would work for you.
My wife has this glove- she bought a small, and her hand is about 6.75 inches. I think you'll be alright with it. -Jason Fall
Yes
Wife and I both have these, she's a lefty and I'm not. No issues, you you should be good to go. -Jason Fall
The Berlin is thicker and better quality
About the same as I recall. But note that both of them are fitted quite small and tight. I ordered one using the fitting guidelines but had to return it as it was too small.
The glove is much thicker. It is also very soft. I am not a fan of the Damascus glove because it offers so little protection. It’s a very good glove, I highly recommend.
Thickness of fingertips on this glove is just fine. I can shoot for an hour without feeling any effect on my fingertips. I would definitely buy another. I'm a woman with small hands and the glove fits very well although the velcro wrist tab could stand to be an inch shorter in the small size glove that I have. Also the reinforced index finger stitching hits right where my forefinger hooks the string (first finger joint) which is not a good location so I've adapted to hooking the string closer to my fingertip to stay away from that seam and get a smooth release. The glove gets used several times per week and has gotten wet and had pretty consistent use for 6 months or so. It is still soft & pliable and has adapted to my hand nicely. Only a few scrapes so far but none affect the glove function.
