Nice arm guard
You can't go wrong with this
Nice but not for me
This is a real nice armgaurd well made, good leather, good protection, and looks good. I prefer a longer gaurd 7-8" this one tends to grab my string sometimes. Even if I pull it up my arm it will work its way down and then gotcha.
Great prodoct
Very we'll made. Looks good and at a very reasonable price. Archers with large fore arms might have a problem with fit. The stretch cords could be a little longer.
Nice product
Once adjusted it is fine. The leather is nice and thick and so far I haven't noticed any arm strikes with it on. My only complaint would be the buttons are a bit large for my taste but I'll live with it.
Deluxe Bone Armgaurd
So far so good, works well. Adjustable, keep the cord at full length and double wrap when you have light layers on. Keep it long for more clothing. Can be warm when weather is hot, but hey... It's leather.
Excellent
The best thing about this beefy leather arm protection is that it stays in place. It's much quicker to put on than the velcro one that I had and stays where I need protection without sliding down my arm towards my wrist. It'll take a bit to fine-tune exactly where I need the elastic straps and then I'll cut off the extra strap.
Well made looks good.
This is a well made product. Looks good and is cofortable to wear. The only miner complant I have is that in hot weather it dosn't breath. Duh, its quality leahter.
Solid piece of equipment
I like to shoot traditional. This arm guard works well because it is sturdy and easy to put on once you are past the initial adjustment. For the initial adjustment I had to work on the elastic string for five minutes. One string services all three bone hooks, so one adjustment affects the others. Once past that point you will have a strong, comfortable, easy to put on, nice looking… read more arm guard. I am quite happy with the purchase.
I'd wear this all day if my wife let me
I bought this armguard for my wife but after seeing it, I stole it. Absolutely beautiful. I'm very pleased with the construction and comfort of this product. I'm sure this is just another archery item my wife and I will be fighting over. It's easily adjustable to fit both our arms and is very well made. We couldn't be happier.
Great Armguard - Excellent workmanship
This is a really great armguard. It's a little difficult to adjust for size, but not too bad. The bone buttons are a little difficult to work with as well. The metal hook version may be a bit easier. ...but the bone looks REALLY nice.
This does not come in black. It only comes in the brown.
I haven't seen it in black.
Yes, The elastic lops are designed to go over then around the bone buttons.
They are supposed to go under the bone tabs. The buttons will probably loosen up in time. The bone is really attractive, but they make a version of this armguard with metal hooks and it really works much much easier.
The elastic loops hook under the bone tabs. I found that the elastic loops were too large, and I made significant adjustments to get them tight enough. Once they were tight enough you lift the edge of the bone tabs, and the elastic loops slip over then sit under the tab. It works well once in adjustment.
The Deluxe Bone Armguard is brown.
yes.
No, not really. It's not comfortable that way, and it doesn't look right. It makes noise and snags on things if you use it on your right arm. It is the nicest arm guard in the world, though, and I wish it did fit left handed shooters, but it does not.
It can be done, but if you are shooting left handed with it, then the buttons will be on the bottom side of your forearm and will make some noise if you try to rest your arm on something like a stand. If you aren't using it to hunt however, I cant see it being a problem.
The width goes from 7" to 8" front to back.
It is adjustable all you will have to do is cinch down the elastic cords and you will be all set!
This armguard might be too big for you. You might try a youth size armguard.
