I got this armguard as part of the Recurve Bow Kit and I think it was a better choice than the more plain guard. This particular guard is a simple and functional, no frills piece of kit and gives me what I need in my practice. Since it is pretty simple, I think it would also work well in reenactment events as it has no logo embossed on it. The leather is pretty soft so it doesn't… read more distract while shooting. You pretty much forget you have it on which is a good thing.

Quality, soft leather construction that's easy to adjust and take off/on but still thick enough to not feel any string slap. Seems to be great for the money

I am a beginner archer. I use this for target archery. I like how it adjusts easily and is quick to put on and take off. The only complaint is the leather tore in a couple spots as it broke in. It does not hinder the armguard. I love it! :)

I bought this on a whim and have been extremely happy with it. A good-looking bracer thats not only more than protective, but very easy to use and comfortable. I had been using a few more expensive bracers with annoying velcro and this one out performs them all. Well worth the money, and would fit in well with the costuming crowd for renaissance fairs and such.

This is a real good armguard with which you will feel confortable, easy and safe from strig attacks to your arm. Cosidering price and first class service of 3 Rivers it is highly recommended.
