I personally didn't like the performance of the smaller diameter shaft. My shot groups tended to be a little bit inconsistent, compaired to the GT .246 inner diameter traditional shafts.
Best arrows I have ever shoot
Used for target shooting and 3D shoots and some stump shooting held up great
Yes you can use the easton X nock with these shafts.

Pull the knock off and cut from that end. They are not tapered so it doesn't matter what end you cut. Heating the glue from the outsert most likely will ruin the carbon.
Once those are installed they are meant to be permanent. You can always pull the nock out and cut from the back end.
It is best to remove length from the nock end of the arrow. Simply pull the nock out and shorten it up a bit at a time to stiffen your arrow.
I would cut the shaft from the nick end. The insert is also threaded, so with the gold tip insert tool, one could add weight from the nock end without cutting. Those shafts take .204 weights I believe. Hope this helps.
I would pull the knock and cut off the knock end.
It depends on how they installed the outsert, if they used hot melt glue you can screw in a field point, (I like to use a large one 200gr+) and heat up the field with a lighter to transfer the heat to the outsert and keep the heat off of the carbon, when the glue bubbles out from behind the outsert twist the outsert with a pair of pliers and pull.
