The product I received is not the one pictured. The leather is of poor quality and the tab was for the left hand when I ordered it for the right hand.
Great product
Great
Five stars
I use this tab for shooting my English warbows up to 135# and love the increase in accuracy that I gain by using this tab. Its thickness and material quality is doing a great job in protecting my fingers while its comfortable to use and has helped me a lot in improving my overall archery performance.
Good thing
very comfortable.I've tried several tabs before, but did not like them.this simple one works the best.looks cool too.
Authentic
I bought this finger tab to complete my Robin Hood outfit. I'm a traditional archer who shoots traditional archery only; namely longbows and recurves.
Excellent, saves the fingers!
My fingers used to get numb/sore after 6-12 shots, now I can shoot all day long and still feel them!
Oddball Simplicity at Its Best
This historical recreation works better than I'd hoped. The medium fits my small/medium hand perfectly (as other users have pointed out, the tab runs a bit small). The leather is fine, though it's not as thick as I'd imagined (I traced the tab design onto some scrap leather, cut it out, and I wear this duplicate tab behind the 3Rivers original; the double thickness is more comfy… read more for me). The tab is also cheap and easy to modify, which are great selling points for poor oddballs like me. The tab has replaced my others, at least for now. I like its simplicity, its quality, its historicity, and yes, its low cost.
I love this thing
I really like this design style. I think it looks good and i like the two fingers holes, rather than the usual one. It stays in place, but easily flips into your palm when you want to use your fingers, and then flips onto your fingers when you are ready to shoot. I shoot 3 fingers under, but it seems to work fine, even though it is not made for that. I just bought a second one… read more as a backup. I haven't tried it wet, so I can't say how it is in wet conditions. However, it is leather, so my guess is it would have the same issues as any leather tab. A synthetic backup for wet weather is what I prefer, and that's why I don't know how this one performs when wet.
Great
Very good. This product doesn't have much wrong with it. It's a great simple tab
Good Leather Tab
I am a beginner archer. I like this style of tab better than others. It fits my hand great. Took a day or two of shooting to break it in. After that it was very confortable. No complaints.
Both, the larger sizes are going to be longer and wider. The nice thing about a tab is that you can trim it down to fit your exact hand size. If you are worried about the length of the fingers, I recommend getting a large. If it is too wide it can be trimmed down.
I would probably suggest getting a medium sized tab, or possibly a large. I think the size differences are for both finger width and length. My middle finger is 3 1/8" long, and the large tab fits me perfectly. I didn't need to trim the leather at all, as some have stated doing. I was even able to stretch the finger holes of the tab slightly to accommodate my fingers while wearing an archery glove, in order to protect my fingers from a 90-lb draw longbow.
I would go with the medium sized tab. Sent from my iPod
This tab is designed for an adult size hand. This tab could be used by a child it may need to be adjusted/ trimmed to fit the child.
I would recommend a medium size
They use two fingers the middle finger is placed between your index finger and ring finger and it rests on the leather.
No, I think one finger goes through the divit in the middle. so, back to three fingers :)
There were a variety of shooting styles used all over the world, but that tad actually uses 3 fingers your index and ring fingers go into the two holes and your middle finger goes in the valley between them.
I do not know about how medival archers used it. I have this tab and use 3 fingers. I place my index and ring fingers in the holes and my middle finger between them. It works for me. Sorry that doesnt really answer your question. Heather Haynie
A lot of medieval archers did use only two fingers, but this tab is designed for three-fingered shooting. The holes are for your first and third fingers, with your middle finger going into the indentation between the holes.
The holes have nothing to do with how many fingers you use. Notice the left side of the picture, the bottom half is wide enough for two fingers, the top, only one. The holes only help keep it on your fingers.
No, two fingers are used to keep the leather tab in place. Those are your index finger and ring finger. But the leather covers three fingers and you use three fingers to draw your bow. One finger above the arrow nock, and two below. -Michael S Sent from my iPhone
Medieval archers, as today archers, had many different shooting styles. The number of fingers vary from man to man. The holes in the tab do not designate how many fingers are used to shoot the bow. The tab has 2 holes so it will stay on your pointer finger and ring finger, the flat part of the leather is what is protecting your fingers. The medieval tabs are designed to cover 3 fingers but you can shoot 2 fingers as well.

Yes, the medieval leather tab is made by the same manufacturer as the bow glove. They are a close match, but being leather, is not guaranteed to be a 100% match.
