Purchased 2 bows/quiver/arrow combos for North Dakota Bowhunters Assoc. annual banquet to be used for raffles for kids. The smile on the faces of the young archers winning the bows/quivers and arrows I donated was worth the price of admission. While at league, I let a youngster (5) shoot the setup (he didn't have a bow), he was ecstatic and his father was sure to purchase the exact… read more bow for him. It fit him perfectly and he loved wearing the back quiver.
A lot of fun in a small package.
My boy loves this bow. It really flings easton 1214 shafts. I also have some cheap dull fiberglass Bear Archery arrows that my 2 year old shoots out of his mini longbow. This bow is made a lot like a Howard Hill style bow. Awesome size and draw weight for my 2 year old!!!
Nice little bow.
I got this bow for my 2.5 year old. He has already learned to shoot it split finger. We use skinny jazz 1216 arrows out of it. They fly great. Only wish the shelf had a little more to it. But it is a Hill style bow. Fun!!!
5.5"
Yes the grip is the same size across all lengths
If he holds the bow in the left and draws with the right he needs a right handed bow.
We have many different length options but they are slim boxes not much bigger or wider than the bow itself.
This bow will have a small shelf but will still hold youth arrows.
The shelf is small only works with small arrows. My boys (3&5)don't seem to have any problems with it and have shot thousands of arrows, and a few pigeons with it. Nicest youth bow I have ever seen.
The shelf is narrow but still keeps the arrow of the hand. It's a good little bow for youngsters!
Like half inch or less it's a very small bow.
3 years and still going strong. It has passed down to two kids. Best flight has been with a 28" cedar shaft.
This little bow is fantastic. Well made and the shelf if adequate. My granddaughters love to shoot this bow!
You may want to look at the Bear Crusader. It's listed as a Youth Model, but it is 60" long with a draw weight 30# @ 28".
