Arrows
Good purchase
I would buy again
They are consistent.
Admirable Arrows
I bought two dozen arrows for my daughters' school archery club and they used them for the end of year tournament. Their teacher, a very experienced bow hunter, said these were "top of the line" arrows and they were all very happy with their performance.
Great Boy Scout Arrows
I recently became an archery instructor for our Boy Scout Troop and was looking for good youth arrows at a reasonable price. I purchased 3 different brands and types of arrows. These are by far my favorite. The tips are great and help the arrows penetrate the target which is important for the boys to feel successful and stay engaged. The nocks were secure and fit all the strings… read more perfectly; on a different set I purchased the nock wasn't secured so they weren't alinged correctly and the nocks were getting lost frequently until we secured them ourselves. The only negative with these Easton arrows was that it is easy to strip the fletchings; however, often we were able to salvage the entire fletching and just reattach it. We are reinforcing the fletchings now with a little glue on either end before they are used. Overall, I'm very happy with these arrows!
It's O.K
I was a beginning archer and these were the first arrows I purchased. When I began using them there was no problem, about a month after using them, the nocks began to come off. It was really annoying and I am not sure if they were even glued in when they were made. I had to glue them back in which was a disaster for a beginner like me. After that there was no problem with the arrow… read more and they are worth the price.
Not as good as expected
I bought these arrows for my wife to shoot out of her 25# recurve. They fly well and stay straight under light use. I have had problems with the fletching coming off and the knocks breaking easily.
My Son loves these arrows
We shoot 3D and targets in the yard. These arrows are probably the best youth arrows you can get that are not wood.
EXELANT
REALY GOOD FOR STUMP SHOOTING AND SHOOTING SHAD
REALLY GOOD ARROWS
FREIND HAD SOME SHOT SHAD WHITH RECURVES
Nice arrows poor Nocks
Use for target practice into straw archery target. Nice and straight and durable arrow shaft. Light with some movement in the air pretty accurate. Dissapointed with broken nock on one of the 12 arrows after just 1 week use - about 350 target shots meaning the nock lasted only 30 shorts before breaking. New bow string didnt expect this to happen.
Yes they will shoot fine from that bow .
They are epoxied from Easton.
Unfortunately we do not have any bulk that are unfletched.
When we measure we measure from the valley of the nock to the end of the shaft not including the points.
These are fletched by easton and then sent to use. They will qualify for NASP shooting.
Draw length and Point weight are needed as well to see what arrow spine will work best. You can look at our arrow charts here: http://www.3riversarchery.com/pdf/ArrowCharts.pdf or call one of our techs for more help.
Probably won't work very well. I use these on my son's NASP bow, which, event hough it has pulleys, it behaves like a recurve in that there is no let-off and the more you draw, the more weight of the pull. These arrows are sized for low draw weight youth bows. At 40 lbs draw weight on a recurve, you need to be looking at the heavier arrows. Also, the fletchings on these arrows tend to pull off when fired on the shelf a recurve; they're designed to be shot from a proper arrow rest. As for the sizing codes, that refers to weight and material type. Go check out the Easton website; they can explain it a lot better than I can.
Yes
You can choose either a 6 pack or a dozen.
We do not carry the vanes that come on these shafts. I do not have any replacements that I can get for you. If you would like to refletch them with feathers, I have some 4" Parabolic feathers that will work very well.
