Obsidian Hunting Stone Point Reviews

Good stone arrowhead

Surprisingly consistent in shape across the three I purchased. A bit more transparent than I expected though. Regardless, I'm happy and am buying more.

Great Point and SHARP

I harvested this Buffalo with this point. My only concern was the notches are high on the cutting surface. I would love to see this knapper produce an obsidian point in the Ohio Hopewell style. That would be my dream point. I got 15" of penetration with this point, 60gn hidden nail, self knocked bamboo shaft with primitive turkey fletching out of my 53# Woodland Hunter. Clean entry read more between the ribs into his right lung.

Good uniformity and consistancy.

Good points but you do need to grind the notches to protect your hafting. I recommend obsidian over stone for larger game like buffalo.
