Port Orford Cedar (POC) that grows in a select region of the northwestern United States has long been prized for producing the best wood arrow shafting on the planet for decades. Port Orford Cedar has long been known for strength and straightness of grain that produces a wood shaft of moderate weight and easy to hand straighten while remaining straight over time. ...read more

Cedar shafts
I ordered these for my first attempt at arrow making.
I would buy again
Shafts were straight out of the box good grain structure throughout great job on quality control from all products from 3 rivers
Great sticks!
Very impressed with these shafts... First timer for building arrows here. Learned by you tube and mistakes. My shafts were strait on delivery. Really love these shafts much better the carbons!! super quiet.. no noise inflight... solid thump on impact. I know carbons are forgiving but these are my new go to arrows now!
I purchased 5/16" X 30" cedar shafts
I use them as leading edges on RC Sailplane. They are straight, strong and light.
I will buy again
Have always used 3 Rivers Cedar shafts for building arrows, good quality, good service.
I think there top notch
I got into the hobby of making my own arrows for hunting and target shooting perfect for that
Quality & consistency
Been working up cedar arrows for 40 years or so, and these shafts are as good as I've handled. A little steam helped me straighten only 6 of the 12 and the necessary corrections were minor. The finished products fly straight & true and group together nicely. What more can I ask than that?!
Yea
I wish you could get an order of 1/2 straight and 1/2 tapered, I'v never used the tapered shaft nd don't want to spend $50.00 on something that doesn't work for me.
I would buy them again
They were the right poundage for my new recurve and with 60 tips got a pb
Would buy again.
Great for target practice .
As these are wood and can lose some of there straightness in time they may need some straightening but they will stay straight after sealing .
Hey Jeff! I've been ordering the port or Ford Cedar Wood Shafts from 3 rivers for years, never had one that was to off. I've had several that needed some minor adjusting, but always quality, and able to be straitened. Hope this helps!!
They generally run between the 45-50 # range .
No , we don't have anything in that spine .
We can ship to Chile you can access our international shipping chart at the bottom of our webpage under shipping.
I would recommend 45/50 with the information you provided
Gasket Lacquer will offer a faster dry time and tougher finish rather than linseed oil.
We do get them in every now and then but we do not have a steady supplier for those heavy shafts at the moment.
These are good quality but not weight matched. Weight Matched would be considered premium.
Both. I have used several of them and have been happy with them Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S9+, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone
Unfortunately we only have these by the dozen and we are unable to break them down to smaller quantities.
The diameter is not as big of deal as getting the proper spine.
Lookup each diameter and look at the draw weight. Mine for example are 5/16 until I got to my 50# draw bow. It then moved to 11/32 for that draw weight Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S9+, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone
