An old classic design still used by many summer camps all across the country. At 60" long with approx 29# pull at a 28" draw, the Titan is just right for older kids (10-18 years old) ready to move up from smaller youth bows, like our Crusader model. Comes with bow string. The Titan youth bow is a full-sized solid 1-piece glassflex recurve youth bow that can take some abuse. The molded poly handle grip with built-in arrow shelf allows use by either left or right handed shooters. That means it's a one-size-fits-all bow. No worries! This bow is a full-working recurve bow and is not a toy. Please always use only with adult supervision! Due to its length, this bow requires additional shipping. Pick one up for that special child in your life. They'll love you for it! Recommended for ages 10-18 Remember that with a traditional bow the weight will change depending upon what your draw length is. Bow weight will change approximately ±1-2 pounds for every inch from a bows rated draw length. So a bow rated 30# @ 28" bow is roughly a 28# @ 27". Draw weight is marked at the nearest 5# increment to actual weight, (2#'s under and 3#'s over). This is an industry wide standard. Bow stringer not included. A bow stringer is recommended for stringing any recurve bow or longbow. Stringing a bow without a bow stringer, or stringing it backwards will void a bow's warranty. Click here to see our Bow Stringers. It is recommended to unstring your bow if you do not plan to be shooting more than week. Store your bow on its side, or hanging vertically from a peg. Never rest the bow on the lower tip for extended periods of time. Never dry fire the bow (shooting without an arrow). 3RIVERS SERVICE: Bow Set-up See Youth Arrows See Bow Selection Tips ...read more

No I would not
Grandson and I shot it ,I was hard to draw . He shot it a few times and went back to the 20# pse razor . I would say buy a better bow ,for a little more money you will have more fun shooting. Now it is rugged, and I can see why the camps would get them. I think I could drive a tractor over it and pick up and shoot it all day. I little patience , I could get better at it. My grandson… read more 10 liked the power of it. But he didn't like the effort it took to draw it back. So there you go.
Great Starter Bow
I bought it for my 12 year old son for CHRISTMAS & he loves it.
Great minimalist bow
I got this bow from my wife for Christmas. I love the simplistic design. No bells or whistles, just the basics. Nothing to get in the way of learning the important mechanics of trad. archery. The low draw weight makes it ideal for long practices and if you have limited space. Great for learning but I think it will be a favorite years later.
Great Youth Bow
Bought this bow for my 10 yr old daughter. A beginner archer, she really enjoys shooting it. The # and draw gives plenty of room to grow into, as well as years of use. Definitely won't find a better bow for the price. Thx.
Great Choice !!
One really good choice for younger shooters around the house. This one was a hit !!
Classic Beginner Bow
I bought this bow for my wife to learn with. We shopped around and decided to get it from 3rivers in the end. Boy are we glad we did! The string that comes from the factory is WAY too short! 3 rivers gives you a replacement string that is the correct length. The only problem we've had is with the string hitting her forearm. But i'm getting ready to order a protector to remedy that… read more problem. Thanks 3 Rivers!
Affordable beginners bow
I bought this bow as a gift for a young friend. The price of the bow was very reasonable, that is until you add on the shipping. The shipping was more than half the cost of the bows price. I liked to fell over. I just received another bow (custom) same length but heavier, in a PVC tube from Pennsylvania, and it cost substantially less to ship it to me. Go figure. I really like 3Rivers,… read more but the shipping cost was unacceptable. I was never notified of the shipping cost when I ordered on line.
Great Starter for a youth
Got this bow for my kids so they can pratice archery with me. great for that purpose. durable and fun to use. the kids are already hitting the target. fast and accurate shipping. thanks
Great Bow
This is my first bow so I bought the youth arrows to go along with it and a stringer since i had never strung any type of bow. After the first shot and I could feel it's power and accuracy. i would recommend this bow to beginners or as an upgrade from the other youth bows for a great price.
I would recommend our Shooting Star Bow Stringer (Item# 1156)
I would not recommend storing any bow strung up. If you plan on shooting the bow several time a week then yes but if you are storing it for more then a couple of days with out shooting it then you would want to unstring the bow.
I wouldn't recommend it
It is not Fast Flight compatible unfortunately.
Yes this is made in the USA.
Not USA-made anymore. Made in Taiwan these days. No worries, though, as Taiwan makes good stuff (far superior to mainland China). Quality of bow is fine (just need a "real" bowstring, not the cord they come with! A custom 10-strand string will have a smaller center serving than the 12-strand strings some buy for this bow. A smaller serving will better fit the tiny nocks used on the low-spine arrows this bow needs.
This bow is 60" long.
That bow is the same length as a full size bow, just much lighter in poundage. My kids love theirs!
Specs say it is 60 inches
The brace height should be around 7 inches.
I would recommend in item number 4243x Double loop Dacron bow string in 14 strands in 56 inches.
I bought a 56 inch double loop bowstring that has 14 strands, and it is holding up quite well. My son has shot hundred of arrows and it’s only now starting to slightly fray. Hope this helps. 56''
It is for right or left handed archers.
I would recommend our Shooting Star Bow Stringer (Item# 1156)
There are a lot of choices and it might be best if you call one of our techs so that we can get you set up with the correct arrows for you needs. I would recommend the Apocalypse arrows, but they are only 28" long. If your draw length is a true 28", these might be too short for you. http://www.3riversarchery.com/Apocalypse+Youth+Carbon+Arrows_i1120-1_baseitem.html You can also take a look at these arrows (Item# 2497x) in 500 spine. These are 30" long which are good for a 28" draw length. http://www.3riversarchery.com/High+Plains+Hunter+Carbon+Arrows_i2497X_baseitem.html
