What length do you cut the cedar shafts for making a proper crossbow bolt? I've always cut my previous shafts in half to bulk up numbers, but the shorter bolts twirl in the air... is there any way to prevent that twirling?

Looking to build arrows for a #61@28 predator classic recurve. What is the typical weight of a full length 23/64 shaft and what spine would you recommend? My draw is to 29
