Bearpaw Slip Over Rubber Blunts Reviews

Not impressed

I installed one of these on a square ended cedar shaft for a 25 pound draw self longbow. After 4 shots, the shaft was sticking out of the end of the blunt. The rubber is very thin at the end. Might work if glued on. But this should not be neccesary on a light bow. Not feasible to install over a field point

Are these blunts easily removable if I decide I want to switch to my screw-on feild points?

The description on these blunts indicates both applying over field points, and slipping over broken tips. The blunt weights are 125gr and 160gr, respectively. If slipped over existing points, wouldn't you double the point weight?!

These blunts weigh 125 and 160gr. If you slip them over existing field points then you would have to add that weight in as well when figuring point weight.
