Zwickey Scorpios Broadhead Stoppers Reviews

I would buy this product again. They work great!

I use them when shooting in a field, if you miss your target they slow the arrows travel in the grass much shorter and I find my arrows much quicker.

Great product, especially for turkeys

Use mainly for Turkey hunting to keep the arrow from blowing thru.

Excellent

Works as advertised on small game. Keeps game from going too far after shot

Seems to be a great idea and I will try soon. I recommend it

I will try it in small game. I have tested in target and it does not alter arrow impact at all.

Its good most of the time

Makes arrow easy to find. The only problem is that some times it slides all the way up to feathers and messes them up when you pull them back. I will use them when rabbit hunting and turkey hunting. I will keep one on me for the tough shots on 3D coarses.

Miss sized product

The fit was too loose on the arrow. Tried carbons and aluminum. On each arrow the limiter slid back to the fletching on release of the shot. Maybe the next size smaller would be a better fit. This is the first negative review I have ever writen. Still love three rivers.

Good way to stop an arrow in a bird

Will be used to prevent pass throughs on turkeys. Will also slip it on for night"coon" shoots in case my arrow doesn't find the target.

If it's advantageous that the arrows stays in the target, this is it. Waterfowl, turkeys, small game. Makes recovery a breeze.

Works great!

I've used these Scorpios for stump shooting and target practice in areas where I'm worried I'll loose an arrow, and they prevent just that. I've yet to have an arrow get away from me. I'm excited to give them a try on Turkey once the season rolls around too.

Very good behind a blunt on wood arrows

Behind a blunt or broadhead, you will take shots you never would without the Scorpio. At a target with bushes behind it, hit or miss you can find your arrow because the Scorpio hangs up on the brush and grass. The Scorpio springs are very tough. Take a shot, find your arrow, slide the Scorpio back down the shaft to the point and shoot again.

You will want to use the 19/64 size for the ICS arrows. These will slide all the way to the feathers. If you do not want them to slide I would recommend to use the grasshopper rings that are permanent behind the point.

I will let the experts @ 3 Rivers recommend the suggested size but no they should not slide back to your feathers upon release. It sounds to me like they are too large in diameter for your shafts. I use these for turkey hunting behind my broadheads & even practicing with them on a target they only slide up the shaft as far as the arrow penetrates the target.
