Catquiver 2 True Timber® Quiver Pack Reviews

I would definitely buy this product again

I've have had three cat quivers, I gave one to my son and went to a neighbor and now about to buy my fourth one to have as A back up. I hunt in Louisiana, Texas, as well as Colorado. You can pack a days worth of supplies or more into this one and also strap things onto the side or top such as a raincoat. I hook a bugle tube on one side and also hook my rangefinder on the other read more side and it's easy to get to you either. The best thing however is not having a quiver on your bow causing any extra torque Or twisting and you can easily get the arrows out. The only negative is occasionally it starts to squeak a little.

Great for traditional archers,if u pack a tree stand in its a little cumbersome but I found a way to make it work, arrows come out easy

Good Product - Could Be Improved

Really like how arrows/feathers are protected form elements and tucked out of the way while walking/hiking and easily held 6 ea. 2413 shafts with 3 blade 1-1/4" dia. broadheads and 0.6496" tall feathers. Purchased cotton version and the outer surface feels flocked making construction quiet yet durable (compared to fleece), thus, would be my recommendation for anyone choosing to read more buy this quiver. Pockets were considerably spacious for a small pack. However, I'm fairly flexible yet had difficulty being able to quietly reach an arrow while wearing the quiver, carrying my bow, and with my release strapped on my hand. As mentioned in the cons, the chest strap is inappropriately sized, especially if worn over multiple clothing layers so, get a strap extender or don't use it /cut it off.

You will not be disappointed

I bought this quiver last season to make it easier to walk into the woods hunting and it has gone above my expectations. I use to have a quiver that would wrap around my bow and a waste pack with the rest of my gear in it. I have combined them both into one using the Catquiver 2. I typically only carry 3 arrows in the back quiver but I am sure if you wanted to put 5 arrows it read more would not be a problem. The arrow fletching stay dry when they are in the quiver and do not get snagged on any branches when walking into your stand. I was amazed at how big the pockets are on this too! I am able to fit all my gear in it from after the shot, including a 8 inch buck knife, binoculars, camera, snacks, rope, and an extra layer all in the quiver. It does not bounce when you walk with it and the straps are very comfortable. I have pulled arrows out of the quiver with it on my back but it does take a bit of practice to get the feel of how the arrows are easily taken out without taking the pack off.

Good overall product.

The only problem I have had with this is its mobility. It makes it difficult to crawl and duck under obstructions when stalking game with the extra compartments and how it's positioned over the neck. It's basically impossible to look up when laying on your belly. Otherwise, it's very convenient, and an excellent product. I love being able to discretely pull out an arrow without read more having to raise my arm over my shoulder and alarm game.

This is my 2nd catquiver2. The 1st one lasted 30 years & I finally had to put it to sleep. The newer version is even better than the old one. It has more space is better made & comes in fleece. I have never liked a quiver on my bow & the catquiver2 meets all my needs. It carries all my gear, protects your fletching,& is great for long days in your stand.

An answer to a dilemma

I hunt in a lot of brush. Other back quivers always hung up or ruined fletching etc. I like how the fletch is protected from snagging and weather. My tomahawk longbow feels like it should. Lighter and quicker now that I have no extra weight on it. For me, it took some getting used to accessing the arrows, but with practice, I've gotten better. If I'm sitting, I can take it off and read more lay it beside me, and the arrows are still protected from the weather.

I've owned this catquiver 2 for about 4 years now. Best money spent in 28 years of bowhunting. If you have a bow mounted quiver, bless your heart. You don't know what you're missing. Great product!

Love my Cat quiver. I want to upgrade to a bigger pack. I hunt for 20 days a year and this pack holds up well. Keep up the good work.

Best quiver I have used to date. In the area where I hunt you have to get in the thick stuff to score consistently. Normal quivers let briars rip your arrows out, rips fletching off and makes a racket in general. With the CatQuiver it is no longer a problem.

I have the fleece catquiver 2 pack and just got back from 3rd trip to colorado returning with bear and elk in tow. this is a great pack that will hold all you need for a day of slipping through the woods/mountains. I was able to crawl up to a bedded 5x6 elk without worrying about arrows on bow mounted quiver or affecting torque on bow when shooting. you may want the bigger pack with side pouches catquiver 3 1/2 if staying out for a night or two. great pack. how does the quiver hold the remaining arrows in place, while pulling one arrow out?

The arrows are under a pressure fit. The inside of the hood has a foam that the nocks are held against (sink in a bit). You push up on an arrow to free the tip and slide it out. Being foam, this will not bother the other arrows unless you have them too close together, which is why we recommend only 10 arrows in the quiver. You can try more, but it gets tight.
