Great for Small Targets
I love these Cheapshots! In between hunting seasons I like to keep the rabbits and possum populations down around the lake house. At dusk and during the night I like to stay sharp but when I used to use expensive steel broadheads, I'd lose 1 in 3 sometimes and cracked or broken an arrow or two when I hit rocks, bricks, or concrete.. But 6 of these cost less than the average price… read more of just ONE quality steel broadhead. And if I miss the composite Cheapshots heads break instead of just bending the steel or forcing the shaft to absorb the impact and crack or break when aiming towards the ground for the small critters.. And they're just as good at taking down whatever I'm hunting. I've never had a rabbit or possum get hit by a Cheapshot and survive. Worth every penny!!

Avoid Cheap Shot Broadhead
I have had two of the shatter at the stem.
Awful
I threw these into a purchase because of the cost. When I received them I realized they are plastic. When I shot them from my bow they flew all over the place. They are very dangerous. They fly feet from the target, like a swirling paper airplane. When they it the ground or a hard target they shatter. I would not recommend these at all. You cant even use them for small game...you… read more can't accurately shoot them from a bow. I spoke with others in my archery club who purchase these and they all had the same experience. I cannot believe there are any positive reviews on this product. Dangerous and unusable.
Cheap Shot Broadheads
Was very pleased with my purchase. Had read great reviews about these broadheads before I purchased them.
CHEAP SHOT?....AN UNDER STATEMENT
I USE THIS PRODUCT FOR TARGET SHOOTING IN MY BACKYARD, INTO TO A 3D DEER TARGET . I SHOOT A SEMI HEAVY POUNDAGE BOW AND THE ARROWHEADS WILL BREAK. THEY ARE CONSISTENT AND SOMEWHAT ACCURATE BUT BOWSIGHTS HAVE TO BE ADJUSTED TO THAT ARROW FLIGHT EVEN IF IT IS'NT THE SAME AS ONE'S HUNTING BROADHEADS. THEY COULD BE USED FOR LIGHTER POUNDAGE BOWS AND FOR THE MONEY ,COSTS WON'T BREAK… read more YOU. I WOULD RATHER SPEND THE MONEY FOR EXTRA BROADHEADS USED FOR THAT PURPOSE FOR TARGET SHOOTING
Huge
These are rugged and lightweight
Broadheads,one word Outstanding
I bought 20 of the 125 grain Broadheads and intent to buy 20 of the 100 grain as well. These broadheads for the price and the fact they are a Cold Steel product are all it took for me.
I would buy this product again
Was thoroughly impressed with the accuracy of these.clean pass through on a hog.was pleasantly surprised.
We recommend for small game only like rabbits, squirrels, etc.
Yes the Cheap shot does have a 5/16 ferrule and will screw into any standard insert.
Yes these will work with the hi plains arrows.
Yes they will since they have a standard 8-32 thread. If you are picky concerning the diameter of the arrow compared with the diameter of the broadheads base, then know this. Your arrows diameter is 5/16. The base of the broadhead is 11/32. I have tried these on 5/16 and 11/32 shafts. Works well when removing from targets. I bought 12 and broke 1 when it struck a hard surface. After all, what do you expect from plastic. Do I believe these would kill a deer? Absolutely.
