Absolutely!
Shot my first deer with traditional gear this week. Double lung shot. I'm shooting 28.5" GT traditional shafts with a 55# Hoyt buffalo. Arrow went completely through like shooting through paper and absolutely BURIED in the ground seemingly never changing trajectory. I'm not saying that no other broadhead would do this. I'm saying that as a former compound shooter, I've never… read more seen this happen and I've shot deer with just about every type of broad head from heavier compound bows.
It works.
I have killed one deer with this broadhead last year. It was a farther shot then I should have taken. Upon releasing the arrow the deer turned into the shot and the arrow hit the neck. The deer dropped immediately. The broadhead severed the neck vertebrae and was stuck firmly between them. I had to leave the broadhead in the neck and later when butchering the deer extracted it.… read more The broadhead was in perfect condition, even with the hard bone hit. I also had two misses on hogs, one arrow skipped over the ground, broadhead was fine. The other slammed into a rock which bent the tip of the broadhead, but I was able to hammer it back to a decent level of straightness. Overall a very tough head. Shooting this with a Martin Hunter 60#, Legacy 2219 31" arrows.

These are only 190 grains right now.
All I know of is the 190s. Maybe stiffen up spine a bit to use this broad head. Very good broad head and sharpen well.
Thread sizes are universal, regardless of the outside diameter of the shaft. The only time you will need to worry about the thread sizes is when you are dealing with the new Deep Six components.
