This clever design requires no tools to mount to your bow. Was specifically designed for the Fred Bear recurve bows, but it will fit any bow with riser inserts. Fits both 1/4" x 20 (Bear Archery) and 10-24 (AMO) riser quiver inserts. Easy-on/off attachment with thumbscrews. ...read more

Sturdy, high quality materials, lightweight, looks fantastic
Very well-made, gripper rubber is great, leather feels and looks amazing. Weighs almost nothing. Very glad I found this quiver.
Works as expected
The quiver mounted easily to my Bear Super Mag 48 bow. I would easily have given it five stars if the rubber piece that holds the arrows came standard in two sizes. Irksome to have to pay quite a bit more for the extra piece for smaller shafted arrows. I like many archers use thin shafted field points for 3D and larger arrows for broadheads and hunting.
Excellent Quiver
Used for target, hunting, and stump shooting.
A must for my Bear Grizzly
This will come in handy during Hunting season
I don't understand the high praise for this quiver.
A couple of years ago, I acquired one of the last all bubinga Bear takedowns with the bubinga wedges in the limbs. I needed a quiver for it, and lots of folks gave this quiver high marks. It doesn't work so well on that Bear B riser. First, it's only good for holding 3 arrows. On the version I have (regular riser mount), it is next to impossible to utilize the back 2 arrows nearest… read more the riser, especially with broadheads on the arrows. Second, the top and bottom tend to push away from each other at the rubber tubing slip joint when pushing arrows into it. The foam in the hood of my example has a hard plastic coating on the user side that really impedes putting 3 bladed broadheads in it. It was pre-cut for 4 blades. And finally, it rattles. Every shot. The wire frame seems flimsy and it will mar a wood riser if you don't sandwich a metal washer between it and the riser. I ended up getting a Fred Bear leather topped 4 arrow quiver. It's quiet, sturdy but has it's own quirks. The arrow gripper required trimming to be able to insert and arrow. It wrapped around the shaft too much and wouldn't allow the CARBON arrow to snap in, I had to use a sawing motion to get them in and its not easy to do in the dark in a tree stand with a crazy sharp broadhead floating out there in the wind until the shaft would enter the gripper and I could then shove the head into the hood. It also sticks out farther from the riser than I like but it is much more usable than the GN quiver. I don't see the FB quiver listed anymore... I kept the GN, maybe I'll find a bow that I can use it on later or gift it to someone in need, but it didn't work very well for my bow. I wish it worked as good as it looks.
Great quiver but not 5 stars
Fits on my Bear Grizzly like it was designed for it. Its quiet, looks great and easy to attach. So why not 5 stars? Because great northern had to soak me for an wxtea $[$] to get the medium and small grippers, why didnt they just include them all or give you the option to get the one you need? Also this quiver needs lock washers when attaching, those should have been included also.… read more Great northern was nice enough to provide 2 sets of bolt screws (1/4-20 for Bear bows).
Most practical, and economical quiver!!!!
Really like this quiver it attached to the bow with out any modifications stayed tight even after 100's of shots, the description said I would need to order the smaller arrow holder for my 1916, but I didn't and they fit snugg! Great product!
Easy on/off, very quiet
I have owned other GN bow quivers in the past and it was natural for me to get a side mount to go on my Bear TD. My biggest concern was regarding how quiet the bow quiver would be with the thumb-screws holding the quiver on. With this quiver on my bow-I can not tell any difference in noise, it's completely silent. Other features I like about the quiver; its' lightweight, easily… read more adjustable, quick and easy to remove from the bow, and holds the arrows nice and secure.
Looks nice on my Samick Sage recurve bow
Easily installed on my recurve bow. Comes with two sets of attaching hardware so I was able to installed this quickly to my bow. Holds 5 arrows so I can have some with broadheads and some with blunt points for stump shooting or an occasional small game target.
Simply The Best (for Bear Bows)
The knobs twisted off the set screws while I tried to tighten it to my bow. The steal harness leaves dents in the wood after its mounted. BUT I STILL LOVE THIS QUIVER on my Super Kodiak, it looks great and for the most part its high quality. I added padding under the harness and lock washers to the mounting screws and all is well. See the picture.
Yes, the Side Mount quiver should fit onto that bow without any problems.
No , Hoyt has two different styles of quiver mounts one is for the Hoyt Carbon 2-piece quiver https://www.3riversarchery.com/hoyt-carbon-solo-2-piece-bow-quiver.html or any style compound quiver .
Yes it will.
As long as it has the bushings in the side of the bow it will work. R/H quivers will be on the right side of the bow.
The quiver will come with the thumb screws. If you are able to locate Hex screws with the same thread count then yes you can use those.
The quiver will come with the large gripper. For standard 5/16 carbon arrows you would need to get the medium gripper for your arrows to fit.
Yes, the Kodiak Magnum has Bear quiver bushings preinstalled. This quiver will mount right to the riser.
Yes it will . It will slide , and it comes with 1/4 -20 and 10/24 mounting screws. Hope this Is helpful
If it's a newer model with the threaded inserts for a side mount quiver it will fit fine. The length of the quiver adjusts so that it should fit the shortest to the longest of recurve risers. I have one for my 58" Super Grizzly and it has plenty of adjustment left to go for a shorter bow.
Yes if you have inserts in your bow. it is very adjustable but you have to have threaded inserts in your bow. they come in two sizes quarter x 20 and I cant remember the other size. The quarter x 20 is the most common. hope this helps.
I have had bad luck buying quivers unless you can fit it on your bow and see how it feels and looks I wouldn't buy on line. Sent on the TELUS Mobility network with BlackBerry
Yes, the Side Mount quiver should fit onto that bow without any problems.
All of the Great Northern quivers come with the large grippers. They work best for 11/32 and 23/64 arrows. The medium will work for 5/16 and 11/32. And if you are using micro diameter arrows you will want to get the small. http://www.3riversarchery.com/Quivers+Bow+Great+Northern++Replacement+Grippers_c14_s21_p52_i5012X_product.html
The Great Northern Side Mount bow quiver requires quiver inserts in the side of a riser to be able to use it. The Hoyt Dorado has these inserts.
The Hoyt Dorado does NOT have the riser inserts for mounting the Great Northern Side Mount bow Quiver.
Unless your Bear Grizzly recurve has side quiver inserts mounted into the riser the Great Northern Side Mount bow quiver will not fit the Grizzly. If you wanted to add the riser inserts to your bow we have them here: http://www.3riversarchery.com/Bow+Accessories+Riser+Inserts++1+4%22_c46_s208_p0_i5342_product.html
