I use this for hunting, very quiet and easy arrow removal.

Better than the expensive quivers

There is nothing bad with this quiver. It has a large 6-arrow capacity, looks very durable, and holds arrows in place. Its not very heavy but it does add some weight to the bow with all 6 arrows in it. But i like the fact that its a quick remove quiver, so it can be taken off really fast anf put back on fast and effortlessly. So if the weight added is too much, just take it off read more while youre shooting.

"A DURABLE BUT SIMPLE QUIVER"

I have specifically used a Kwikee Kwiver on my bow since my first archery hunting experience in 1979. Though my original Kwikee Kwiver is 33 years old and in perfectly usable condition, I thought I'd treat myself to a new "Kwiver" this year for my 33 year old Browning bow. This bow and quiver combination has spent hundreds of days at my side in the forest over the years primarily read more hunting white tail deer and black bear. While in tree stands, I use a remote quiver holder/bracket screwed into the tree. This is also manufactured by Kwikee. I particularly appreciate the simple, but positive locking mechanism of the quiver to the bow which facilitates the ease of transfer of the Kwikee Kwiver from bow to tree mount. The use of this remote mount allows for a swift and unencumbered arrow shot.

I have a bear Cheyenne recurve and only have 2 quiver inserts top of riser and then bottom of riser, will this quiver work? Does this quiver use one or mounting screw or 2?

That quiver uses two screws to hold it on , you will need to use 3 years ago

That quiver uses two screws to hold it on , you will need to use something like a Great Northern side mount quiver https://www.3riversarchery.com/great-northern-side-mount-5-arrow-bow-quiver.html or some sort of strap on quiver .

The quiver has two mounting screws. The inserts in mine were on 3 years ago

I am looking at one of Martin's Recurve Take-Downs in their Wood Series...Either the Locust, Cypress, or Willow. Are you familiar if either one, or all 3, have the ability to accept this particular Mounted Quiver?

I am not familiar with this 3 bows. If they are drilled and have AMO inserts for a standard sight or quiver then they will work. If they are not you can always put in your own http://www.3riversarchery.com/AMO+Riser+Inserts_i5340_baseitem.html . <-- This link will take you straight to the inserts you need to make that quiver work but will require you to drill into the riser of your bow.

Asked by still green 10 years ago

Is this compatible with my Martin Saber Takedown bow? How do I know if I have the ATA Accessory (AMO sight) inserts? Is the installation hardware included with the quiver?

As long as your bow has the AMO sight bushings, it will work. 10 years ago

As long as your bow has the AMO sight bushings, it will work. Basically, on the side of your bows riser, there will be two bushings on the outside of the bow's window tapped for 10-24 threads and roughly 1.312" apart. It comes with the necessary bolts for installation, but not the sight bushings.

The Kwikee Quiver mounts solid to the bow. You will be able to shoot with it on the bow no problem. With any bow mounted quiver, you need to adapt your shooting to adjust for the additional weight of the quiver and arrows.
