Didn't hold up for me
I've had this quiver for a couple of months. Today the plastic frame along the outer edge cracked and I noticed several of the rivets holding it together were separated. Not recommended.
Awesome product!
I have used the product since the 60's never wear out but they can get lost over the many years.
No surprise for the price
I planned to buy one for each of my bows but I gladly changed my mind at the last moment. Be aware that according to the arrow you are using ( GT shafts in my case) you will have to adjust some things: I had to wrap a bare shaft with tape to fit the opening of the clamps on the cover. As a matter of fact, every two arrows shot, the cover would jump, out, while it was being noisy… read more during the shooting ( I have a Bear Grizzly). I therefore have 3 instead of 4 arrows available. It remains good for practice or to carry the arrows to your stand, but I will not silent hunt or stalk with it ( ie shoot with the quiver installed). I think that when you buy it, you have what you pay for. I will not recommend it for hunting
I would buy this product again
Read a few reviews about this quiver and I did have a little rattling and slow positioning movement from the broad head cover, but a few wraps of cloth tape at the junction of cover and arrow attachment stopped all movement and noise. The fact that it holds only 3 useful arrows wasn't a problem for hunting but I can see it being less desirable for 3D shooting. You can't beat the… read more price especially if you are trying to see if you want to use a bow mounted quiver
Great product
Same great quality as it was many years ago when I first used the product
Basic but great for the price. Don't have the rattling issue
Don't have the rattling issue others have. Wish it had foam in the hood so it wouldn't spin
Bow mounted quiver
It is just what I wanted. Like I had when I was first starting to shoot. I looked everywhere. Thank you Very Much. I looks good also. Kirk
Would buy again
Great for hunting
Best quiver since 60's for small game heads !
Best product out there for small game blunts of any make. No hood necessary and arrows dont rattle. I have been using these since the 60's. Been hunting small game for over 50 years.
Great, but limited
A stumping buddy of mine bought one of these, since he doesn't have AMO holes in his riser. Just for grins, I put it on my Sage. Works great, but the hood is awful. With it, you have a 3-arrow quiver that I wouldn't think of using for broadheads. Without it, you have a great quiver for anything you'd use blunts for: stumping, small game, killing soccer balls, whatever.
Yes this would still fit the Montana.
I've used it on a Montana. Doesn't make a lot of difference to the accuracy, either, although you won't win any competitions. But it works well with the bow.
Yes you are able to flip this around and use it as a left hand quiver.
Neil, the quiver can be used right or left handed. I don't use the broadhead cover as it can come off if bumped and cause noise issues in the rain. The Kwikee is a good, inexpensive quiver. I have one for each of my bows. Here's a tip. Have your wife save the thick rubber bands from vegetables from the store. The ones supplied with the quiver will dry out and crumble over time and you'll have to replace them.
Yes this quiver can be used on a left or right handed bow.
Yes, I'm using it left hand. But if I had it to do over I would just spend more $$ and get a Thunderhorn or something similar. Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android
It looks like it will work on either side of the bow. The hood just clips on to an arrow. Sent from my iPad
Yes this quiver would work on that bow
No, it should not scratch the bow. However, I always used a bow sock with them for added protection and camouflage.
No. A rubber band is included that goes between the bow limbs and the jaws that clamp. At least there was one included when I bought this a couple of years ago.
Designed for 5/16 arrows
5/16-11/32 are no problem
I am not sure which quiver you are referring to. Please send us a picture to [email protected] and we will try to find the right foam for you.
You would be able to attach this to most take down recurves. You will wan to get it on the limbs and as closer to the riser as possible.
Yes, it will worker on a thicker limbed bow.
No, I do not recommend this quiver for the Buffalo. You will need to either use the Buffalo quiver or a quiver that is designed for an ILF bow.
This hood will rattle a little due to it being clamped to the fourth arrow. With some adjusting to the arrows to keep them touching the inside walls of the hood you may be able to prevent it.
