Can't trust these to not snap off
These have the potential to be an excellent broad head, but due to inconsistency in manufacturing I cannot recommend these for hunting. First they came extremely dull. They were hard enough that a file would not touch them, so I used a stone and leather strop to get them hunting sharp. I should have realized at that point that they were not tempered correctly after heat treatment… read more and may be brittle. But I went hunting with them anyway. First whitetail buck was a quartering away shot from 15 yards. Arrow went between two ribs and out the front shoulder then stuck in the dirt. It retained it's edge and was still sharp. Deer went 20 yards and was down. The next buck was quartering away as well. That arrow hit a rib on the way in and the broad head snapped off leaving the shank still screwed in my insert. Two days of tracking and combing the area. Deer was not recovered until it had spoiled. Arrow had passed through without the broadhead. The third broadhead I took into our metallurgy lab where I work and was tested. We found the hardness to be 10 points higher than what it should have been for most broadhead. That would make these extremely brittle and would explain why they broke. I have emailed ozcut twice and have received no response. I am done with them, and cannot suggest anyone use these for hunting. They will not hold up to impact with bone.
Yes
Made a shot in the deers leg. Went all the way through the bone and all most a pass through. With a 53# selfbow at 27 yards. But they were sold to me very dull so I had to sharpen all of them before use.
Not super happy
Edge of broadhead broke off after hitting another arrow during siting in
Decent
Pros: They seem durable. Matching with field points with minor nock adjustment. Cons: The packaging was designed by a 12 yo. They were pretty dull from the factory. They appear larger than they really are in stock photos- fairly small broadhead.
I am not sure, I'd recommend contacting the vendor and seeing if its something they would offer.
