Old Bear quiver's arrow gripper had dried out and was no longer able to grip arrows. New gripper was identical replacement, installed easily and fits perfectly.

I was delighted to see that three rivers was offering this arrow gripper for the bear quivers. I have an original Bear four arrow quiver and bringing it back to life was great. It now looks good on my original Bear super Kodiak. Thanks three rivers.
Problem with bottom arrow gripper

Ordered two of these. The bottom arrow gripper will not hold an arrow securely on either gripper. Doesn't look like the picture. Mine are almost flat across the bottom. They are still better than nothing. I am happy to be able to use my old 4 arrow Bear quivers.

I want to bring my old bear bow quiver back to life, four arrow model, I need a gripper that will fit Gold Tip Carbons. I now shoot carbons with weight tubes in them. Thanks, Coby Moulton

I purchased this gripper a while ago to restore a Vintage Bear Quiver and it worked great. I am shooting Gold Tip Traditional Carbon Arrows in a 500 spine. I would highly recommend this to upgrade your old hard dried out original gripper you may currently have on your Bear quiver..

Will this gripper hold newer graphite size arrows firmly as the original one allow the arrows to slide downward while shooting. I presume this is due to the larger wooden and early arrow shaft sizes. Thanks

These are the same as the grippers that come on the quiver so though they hold the 5/16" diameter without it falling out, it does allow for the arrow to slide up and down within the gripper. Your reasoning is correct though.
