These are factory seconds.
The blades do not fit the notch in the ferrule. They are loose and there is no way to tighten them. The machining quality on the ferrule is rough. These have to be factory seconds. If I owned Steel Force I would not let them see the light of day. 3rivers took mine back with no problems, but it was a waste of my time and return shipping dollars.
Sum maybe loose in Ferrell but they fly like darts,,,
Sum maybe a smidgen loose in Ferrell, but doesn't affect arrow flight,, sum cud be sharper, but, I leather strop them, b4 hunting
Great priced heavy fixed head
Got these for their price and weight, was impressed by their built and blade thickness... but my arrows don't like them... some blades don't fit the ferrule groove snuggly and can cause them to slightly move... definitely need to be sharpened and some bevels are slightly off, but they keep their edge well If I can find an arrow that flies well with these I'd definitely be excited… read more to take game with em, 3 star rating is just comparing to other heavy fixedblades
Awesome heads
I used these heads for the first on a ostrich and pig hunt and they were fantastic
Most likely
I am practicing for future hunting season. A couple of blades are loose in the shaft. But the shoot good. I will know more later this year.
I am buying more they're so great
i've shot both weights and they are phenomenal. i have hit almost anything hard with these out of my 50 pound bow and the edge never rolled or chipped and stayed almost as sharp as they were brand new. i used one for over two months hitting plywood and the blade just now broke off but i still use it as a field point. it is basically the best value and i am buying more and using… read more them. can't wait to hunt with them because i know they work.
Resharpen is a must.
It's steel force. I've liked everything theyve made. That being said, these are basically dull blades in whatever packaging that was around. Wouldve been better if they wrapped them in wax paper 3x over and used duct tape. The plastic packaging is obviously from another, much longer, broadhead design. The blades were shuffling around like hell. 1 blade has dings in it beyond repair.… read more I'll shave off to much. It'll change the weight of the blade. For 15$...I'll resharpen them
I love these broadheads
These broadheads are sharp and they fly just like my field points out of my recurve. Great penetration on my target
I probably wouldn't buy this product
Shot a couple shots into broadhead target but hit something and it blew apart. If it hits a rib I dont believe it would hold up
125gr Broadheads didnt weigh close to 125gr
so i saw the price and was hooked. I couldn't believe the great deal. They came in and when I weighed them they came in at 118 grains. They have aluminum Washers instead of the brass washers used on the factory 125 grains, was the reason i weighed them. when i tested them for sharpness they were quite dull. This isn't a big deal because i usually touch up these broad heads anyway,… read more but if you were expecting to screw them on and hunt and you would have had a really bad experience. this is why i wouldn't recommend them to a friend unless i knew they were going to put the work in on them they needed to so they would be hunt ready.
These blades are .039" thick. Unfortunately i do not have any information on the type of steel and hardness.
These are 2½" long with an 1-1/8" cutting diameter and would be a great setup for deer and hog.
These broadheads are a double bevel broadhead that come sharp ready to use.
It's not RH or LH. BOTH sides have the same edge and are sharp.
These are only the 2 blade and do not have an option for a bleeder blade.
