Excellent product - hard hitting - Squirrels hate me :)
Great product.
Some great, some not
I bought both 175 gr. and 200 gr. Glue on heads. The 175 heads held up well during stump shooting and stopped without sliding under duff. All the 200 gr. heads broke the first hard hit they took. Don't know if it's a manufacturing problem or what. I can't believe 25gr. added weight would be enough to push them over the limit that the metal taper could handle, but they all broke… read more at the collar.
Weak ferrule
The ferrule is very thin and prone to brake out while stump shooting
Thumbs up on the Hammer
I found this to be the perfect blunt for use with heavy cedar arrows out of my recurves. They're a very tough head and the best part Is that they come in heavier weights than the "Judos". They seem to grab well and resist burrowing. I keep one in the quiver at all times for a little roving on the way out of the woods. An excellent head.
Packs a punch
These heads coupled with flu flu's amount to dead bunnies and birdies. I practice on clay pigeons mounted to a stand. Using my archery target as a backstop for arrows I get 6 inches of penetration with these blunts. These heads will stick into a hard target if you get a square connection.
All in a name
these heads are a brilliant small game head for woods they were easy to install have taken a great deal of beating and have come out as good as new. the only damage received was from hitting a rock and even then the damage done was minor and it still continued to fly well on the next shot.
HAMMER
I'M USING THESE ON PORT ORFORD CEDAR TAPERED SHAFTS.I USE HOT GLUE TO PUT THEM ON.I PUT A EXCESS OF HOT GLUE ON THE SHAFT AND PRESS THE SHAFT INTO THE HEAD.THE EXCESS SQUISHES OUT AND I PRESS THE SHAFT IN UNTIL COOL.WHEN THE EXCESS GLUE SQUISHES OUT LET IT COOL A FEW MINUTES AND THEN WHILE STILL SOFT YOU CAN PEEL THE EXCESS AWAY WITH A THUMB NAIL AND HAVE A REAL CLEAN JOINT.THIS… read more HOLDS IT IN PLACE SO THE TIP DOESN'T FLOAT OFF THE SHAFT A BIT.THIS FULL AMOUNT OF GLUE HOLDS THE TIP ON BETTER THAN JUST A SMALL SMEAR OF GLUE.A SMALL SMEAR OF GLUE WILL SOMETIMES NOT HOLD THE TIP ON AFTER MANY IMPACTS IN COLD WEATHER AS THE GLUE SHRINKS IN THE COLD.ALSO IN COLD WEATHER I FIND TO REHEAT THE TIP PERIODICALLY ALLOWS THE GLUE TO RESET AND I'VE HAD GOOD LUCK WITH THE TIPS STAYING ON.I ALSO USE THE SCREW IN ONES ON MY ARROW DYNAMICS CARBON SHAFTS.I'VE NEVER HAD A ARROW SKIP OR DIG IN.THEY ALWAYS JUST STOP RIGHT WHERE THEY HIT.I NEVER LOOSE TWO ARROWS AT A TARGET AS IF YOU HIT ONE ARROW WITH ANOTHER IT WILL SHRED THE ARROW HIT.SO ONE AT A TIME DOES IT.I DON'T SHOOT STUMPS ANYMORE.STUMPS ARE ARROW DESTROYERS.ARROWS GET STUCK OR EVEN SNAP IN STUMPS.I'D SUGGEST SHOOTING AT FALLEN LEAVES, OR WEEDS, OR CLUMPS OF GRASS,A PINE CONE,A MCDONALDS COFFEE CUP--PREFERABLY AFTER YOU DRINK THE COFFEE, OR PERHAPS A BUNNY BUT NOT A NASTY ARROW EATING STUMP.THESE ARE SOFT TARGETS AND DON'T DAMAGE THE ARROW.THESE ARE A DEADLY TIP TO HUNT WITH AND A REAL FUN TIP TO PRACTICE WITH. SO IF YOUR GOING INTO THE WOODS TODAY TAKE ONE OF THESE WITH YOU AND I GAURANTEE YOU'LL HAVE A GOOD DAY. HAVE FUN ARCHERY. TAKE CARE GARE

These are as advertised and work just fine.
Unfortunately, the 200 grain has been discontinued so we will not be getting more stock in that item.
These are glue on points. Please look into item #4910X. These are screw-on and are what you will need.
It will work but you can't glue it directly on, you'll need an adapter.
Yes, and you don't have to worry about the dog getting cut on them
I have not had a chance to use them yet. However, they are very sharp and should not give you any problems.
