Great Quiver, Once It's Been Converted ...
The Trailblazer boasts an elegant curved-throat design and gorgeous leather. The antler button and brown fleece are nice touches. The quiver does not collapse against the back, so the arrows do rattle around. I converted the Trailblazer to a normal one-strap back quiver and softened the leather with oil: now the quiver curves over my back, and the arrows are quiet. If I had to do it all over again, I'd likely have bought the "Maverick" quiver. I am quite happy with my converted Trailblazer, though. Center back awesomeness
Really dislike side sling quivers but prefer drawing from the back. This was a great solution
Not that I know of.
You can but it is not recommended
I do not know but I do not think it would be a good idea.
yes..but, to minimize wear & rattling of arrows, i use a piece of high density styrofoam in bottom of quiver.
It's just a personal preference. In my opinion, the arrows are more apt to stay in place when maneuvering around while hunting. I really like this quiver, it's very well made at a pretty good price.
1. Some of us shoot right and left handed- nothing more annoying than finding your quiver on the "wrong" side all of a sudden. 2. Ever go through thick woods or brush and have the arrows in your shoulder quiver get knocked off? Center of the back quiver means you can go anywhere your head can go without a second thought. 3. Once you get used to it, it's much easier & quicker to draw arrows. Actually promotes good draw hand follow-through when practicing form or shooting groups at targets.
The Trail Blazer is made to sit centered on your back.
