Trophy Ridge Hex Light 5-Arrow Bow Quiver Reviews

Not what I was looking for

I purchased this for my Das Dalaa 17". It mounts fine, is easily removed but it is too heavy for me. Mounted it puts most of the weight on the hood side when carrying. The design also puts the weight on the belly side when shooting and really makes the bow tip back on the shot. I wanted to like it, the built in light is handy putting broad heads back in the dark, but the dual read more gripper design doesn't make it easy. The arrows are very close together and fletching alignment is needed to prevent noise. I flipped the L shaped arm opposite in an attempt to get more weight back toward the grip, it helped some, but not enough. I couldn't recommend this for a recurve, if you've used any light weight quivers like a Selway slide on, this one will disappoint. It comes off easy enough in the stand but it's awkward carrying it through the woods, cranking your wrist trying to keep the top limb out of the dirt. Also, the bow mount piece is plastic and so is the little piece that slides up and down to unlock it. That piece will break eventually. Overall it's well designed, just not a good fit for a Dalaa.
