Similar to quivers used by the Woodland Indians. It's hand-woven the "old way" with half round reed for a sturdy quiver that will last for years. Stained a nice brown to blend in with the woods. Measures 22" deep and holds 12 arrows. Includes an adjustable leather strap. Great for hot summer days. Fits right and left handed archers. ...read more

I love it and would buy it again
I love it and will recommend it. I live in Florida so it's hot all the time and it's nice to use.
Attention getter
It moved around some, I had to hold the strap in place until I ran a leather thong through the bottom of the strap to secure it to my belt
Well done!
This is a fine product, reasonably priced, and the service from Three Rivers was faultless.
Great looking product
I'm amazed at how well made it is, but I would have preffered a more battered look. This product is well constructed and useful.
WOW
This product is a work of art. Beautiful. Holds a doz. field tipped arrows w/o a problem. The weather here sucks right now but I'll use the down time to put a pad in the bottom to keep the arrow points from destroying the bottom of the quiver and some fur around the top to keep the arrows quiet. Can't wait to get it to the range and see people's reaction to it.
This quiver is Awesome
I have a Osage long bow and was looking for a traditional quiver to go with it and this one is better than I imagined possible. I like the look and the quality is great.
My first quiver
I've had this quiver for over a year and it still looks like the day I got it. It was my first quiver and as a recreational archer it has satisfied all my needs. It easily takes the 12 arrows I have, but I imagine it could accommodate quite a bit more. I did notice that the arrows noticeably rattled in the quiver so I decided to line it with a rabbit pelt and it dampened the noise… read more considerably. Also I'd like to mention that what first drew me to the quiver was its primitive/traditional look which is aesthetically appealing to me. I expect to have this quiver for years to come and would recommend it to others.
Lightweight and straightforward
This is a very good quiver, I like the way it looks a lot, and I find it very durable and light. You can fit loosely fit 12 arrows, but you can tightly fit 24, but that is the absolute maximum. It is comfortable to wear and the strap doesn't bother me at all. If doesn't hold a lot of arrows so if you need a quiver with high capacity I wouldn't suggest it. Although everything else… read more is nice.
Traditional Quiver
I shoot my 60 lb longbow regularly and I have added the traditional woodland basket quiver and removed the bow quiver. After a few small adjustments to the shoulder strap the quiver travels fine on a woodland stump shoot. To quiet the arrows, I added a 3 x 12 x 1/4 closed cell foam rolled up and placed just below the mouth of the quiver. The arrows are now completely silent in the… read more quiver. I carry six arrows easily between the closed cell foam separations of the roll. I particularly enjoy the light weight and quality construction of this quiver.
I measured the staps at around 30 in plus a couple with attache points so my recommendation is that if you buy the quiver you would need to use longer thongs that attache the strap to the quiver .
Strap is approximately 40" long attached by leather 1/4" lace. Nice quiver!
It's not meant for big people
From top to bottom attachment, the strap measures about 38 inches. The strap is attached with a separate, thinner piece of leather that loops through the basket pieces and into a hole in the leather strap on both ends and knotted.
Unfortunately we only offer them in a stained version.
Do not think so. Mine was stained. Ask 3Rivers about.
The strap is long enough that you would be able to wear the quiver that way.
A side quiver is normally worn over one arm or attached at the belt. I am not familiar with a quiver that is worn on the chest.
It will hold 12 arrows with field points in it.
You may be able to adjust it to hook onto a belt, but we do not have an adapter available.
I would not recommend using broadheads with this quiver. It should not damage the quiver at all, but the broadheads will move around and could put nicks and scratches into each other. You should be able to get 6 to 10 arrows with broadheads into this quiver depending on the size of arrow.
You can use this quiver for broadheads but I would recommend to put a layer of leather at the bottom for added strength.
The quiver is 22" deep with a total length of 23.5". The diameter is 3.5".
He would be able to use the quiver well into his adult years. I have found that a quiver is a personal thing. Everyone has their own expectation of the amount of arrows it should carry or where it should attach ( hip, back, bow, side, etc.) I think you would be better suited getting him a gift card and looking at the different quivers with him.
