Great Broadheads! Fly accurate and hit hard. Killed three Deer with them this year so far. Good blood Trails on all. The Buck was over 200lbs. The arrow had a complete pass through with a 50lb Recurve!

Great Style, and flys true. Can't wait to use on a deer this year.

Great Product

Not the easiest head to sharpen but it holds an edge well and is very deadly. Great blood trails with short recoveries.

Great broadhead, but watch quality

Two of the three in the packet were good quality, but one was loose on its adaptor, and turned with little pressure. Not ready for hunting.

I have recently started using the broad heads for hunting and these things work. Instead of having to worry about a mechanism falling apart or replacing different parts I have one solid piece of steel and all I have to do is make sure I sharpen it. My advice is to do this on a whet stone because it's easier to maintain an edge for longer periods of time and remove the wire caused read more by sharpening. Otherwise I see a long and successful future with these heads.

I love these Broadheads!

I have not had these long and I love the way this broadhead looks on an arrow. It flies great for me. I have used Zwickey products before and they work great. I'm sure this style will not let me down. Still have to put them through the ringer and can't wait to test them on game.

Once I saw the broadhead, I had to have them. Bought them Sat, Shot them Sun, Mon afternoon, clean pass thru at 15 yrds. They fly strait, hit hard, and really hold an edge.

I was looking at getting some brass washers along with these broad heads. Which size brass washer should I get in order for them to not stick out of the radius of the broad heads shaft. 5/16th or 11/32th?

The ferrule on the broadhead is 11/32, you would be able to use 12 years ago

The ferrule on the broadhead is 11/32, you would be able to use the 11/32 or the 5/16 brass washers with these.

The end of the broadhead measeured 0.377". My arrows screw-in in 12 years ago

The end of the broadhead measeured 0.377". My arrows screw-in insert measured 0.367". So the 11/32" brass washer should work fine

I favor the 5/16 adapter because my hunting shafts are 5/16 or less in diameter. I would go with the 5/16, unless you are using the larger (target size)shafts.

Asked by john 12 years ago

so i ended up purchasing these cause i love the look along with fred eichlers easton axis arrows but what is the advantage to a barbed broadhead ? and or disadvantage?-

A barbed Broadhead does not allow the head to back out as easily 12 years ago

A barbed Broadhead does not allow the head to back out as easily from the animal causing more damage to the animal. You will need to check your local game laws to see if this is legal in your state.

Advantage-The barbs make it difficult to pull out, if not a pass 12 years ago

Advantage-The barbs make it difficult to pull out, if not a pass thru shot. Disadvantage- If not a clean shot, recovery is unlikley. Again difficult to pull out.

They have a double bevel like a razor blade but they need a bit of work to have a real razor edge. A bit of work on a diamond stone will do it very easily. Great broad head for close hog hunting I'm mobile right now so call if its important otherwise I'll be delayed in my response. Thank you :-)
