First Use--As advertised.
Never used a scraper before. Have now used the largest of the three. Smooth as silk. My only worry is with sharpening and burnishing when it gets dull--but that's me--not the scraper.
Scrapers on a Diet
I thought this item would be of a little heavier gauge. The scrapers work, but bend too easily under what I consider light pressure. They appear to be made of good steel however, just a little heavier gauge would have been better for me.

Works great for refinishing
I saw (online) that some people used these and I was curious about them. I usually just carefully sand the old finish off. But it takes a long time. So, I got a set of scrapers to try for my latest recurve refinishing job. They worked great for removing the old, peeling finish and it saved me a lot of sanding time. I will use them all the time now. A very useful tool.

Awesome idea! All kinds of different sizes and curves. I just love them thanks!
Scraper set
THESE SCRAPERS ARE REAL GOOD FOR TAKING OFF LITTLE SHAVINGS WHEN BUILDING YOUR SELF BOW.THE VARIETY OF SHAPES LETS YOU CONTROL THE DRAW. WHEN THEY GET DULL PUT EM IN A VISE AND FILE THEM SIDEWAYS A FEW STROKES SO YOU CREATE A TINY BURR AND THEY ARE READY TO GO AGAIN.
These scrapers are made to a Rockwell hardness between 49 and 51.
These scrapers will not work to good for hides. I would recommend to use the short draw knife that we offer for fleshing hides.
The best tool to remove Bark is a Draw Knife.
There is no difference in quality. They are from the same supplier.
