Lazer Traditional HP Longbow Bow String Reviews

Love em

GGC

I actually love these strings. Plenty fast...low creep after initial break-in, and seem durable. They have a pretty good size center serving, which works well with my somewhat larger nocks (black eagle). Most of the other strings have been too small at center serving, requiring more work. I have kids, not time. Lol. I recommend and have bought three since my initial purchase. read more I prefer endless loop to flemish for my modern recurves and even use one on my Howatt Savannah Stealth.

Longbow and recurve

Currently use these strings on a 40# ILF recurve with carbon/foam limbs AND a fast 53# ASL longbow. They did stretch but stopped stretching. This means you should adjust your order with several inches of initial stretching in mind. They're OK but I won't re-order. I have shot 450+ for years but bought Lazers as an experiment. When I re-order it'll be for something more read more like 450+/

Excellent product and service

As an intermediate 3-d shooter and dedicated long bow user, I put this string on a Samick Birdseye Banshee and after one adjustment for brace height, the bow was shooting noticeably faster and flatter out to 35 yards. Initial stretch was minimal, only 4 turns, and the brace height has stayed the same for over 100 arrows. The noise was bad at first but a set of wool silencers took read more all sound out. I ordered the string on a Wednesday evening and was told to expect delivery in 5-7 days. On Saturday, the mailman brought me a package with a catalogue, silencers, and string. 3 days, normal USPS delivery.....outstanding service! The only bad thing was that I only had that afternoon to tune the bow for the Sunday 3-D shoot, and finish the dozen arrows I was fletching. I would recommend this over and over again as well as 3 Rivers. Thanks!

A Great Bow String

The string is a two bundle endless loop sting with the best and tightest serving I have seen on a string. I usually make my own strings. I haven't been able to duplicate the serving or to figure out how the serving is applied. The strings are expensive, but well worth the extra cost.

Long bow string

I make and use long bows and these Lazer Traditional HP Longbow Strings are great! They reduce the shock more so than other strings I have tried. Stretching is minimal. I have told others about them and now they use them as well.

Outstanding String

I was turned onto this string design by Dan Toelke of Montana bows. The wrapped loops mean that in cold weather you won't get a "click" from waxed string when you draw on game. When 3Rivers started offering this string design I was intrigued. Last week I bought two and I have to say after trying all of the skinny strings on the market, as well as various strand counts of all read more of the "no creep", "low creep" materials by various string makers.....this is absolutely the quietest string I have ever put on any of my bows. It will be on everything I shoot from now on. There is little to no stretch and the string is very well made and very durable.

I love the string. The only issue is that it has a slight nick in it. It could be from who knows what but it continues to perform. I will eventually replace it with a twin.
