The product used to look like the one in the picture and was a great sturdy string keeper, so I had ordered a few more for some of my other bows. The new ones are very thin and stretchy and when walking with your bow to a location, you will need to tie the excess into a knot to make it hold in place. I no longer recommend this product. Also, because the material is so thin, you… read more really need to pull it up tight and stretch it over the bow tip and then knot it around the limb, otherwise it will easily spin up as the bow string tries to unwind.
Works great on my longbow with flemish twist string

This works great on my long with a flemish twist string where there is not a lot of room between the limb and the loop when it is unstrung. It's a little hard to start the leather loop back through the hole, but because of this it holds very well. Very pleased with it.
