This little tool comes in very handy. Especially if you are like myself and putting an edge on something takes forever and still won't cut butter. Works fantastic on my zwickey broadheads. Just takes a few light draws through the carbides and I am able to shave hair. Light pressure is key, let the carbide do its job and you'll be ready to take game with properly sharpened broadheads.

I tied this on some Zwickey broadheads, and didn't come close to shaving sharp. I did try other means of sharpening them, without success, so maybe it's the broadheads, but I doubt it.

I was hesitant to purchase this, as things that are too good to be true usually are. Does it put an edge on a blade? Yes. Is that edge razor sharp? No. Can you cut hair off your arm with that blade? No. I am extremely picky about how sharp I like my blades, and for me this does not cut it.

This product is great. Mine was mis-placed by my Brother-in-law, so I had to buy another one. I would be lost without it. Only sharpener to touch my two-blade broadheads!However I am extremely dissappointed in the $[$] shipping and handling cost. Talk about highway robbery. If this sharpener wasn't so dang good, I wouldn't purchase it for that rate. I went from purchasing EVERYTHING… read more I need for this sport from 3R to this being my first purchase in a year. This thing works great! It put an excellent edge on my old rusty Bear Razorheads in no time! But it's only good for fine or thin blades like on broadheads, don't buy it and expect to sharpen any hunting knives. The angle on the inserts isn't right for those fat blades. But it's great for broadheads, I'll always take it with on hunting trips!

I managed to put a shaving edge on my broadheads with just a little effort using this tool. Definitely something worth having in my kit. Well worth the money as a touch-up tool if nothing else.

i was comparing this sharpener to the "3-blade cc sharpener". i noticed this one sharpens at a 20 degree angle while the other one sharpens at a 30 degree angle. does the 20 degree angle produce a sharper blade? can this one be used on the woodsman elite

For sharpening all Woodsman broadheads you will want to use the 30 degree sharpener(3 blade CC). The 30 degree sharpener will allow you to get the correct angle on a 3 blade head and will not grab the tip like it would if you used the 2 blade CC.

You can put the 3Rivers CC broadhead/knife sharpener on a key chain if you like. That is exactly what the hole in upper left is for. Great to have one of these on hand where ever you go.
