The Finishing Touch
This was the first time I used honing compound. It really put the final edge on my broadheads.
Very satisfied
I own a black bird sk-5 bush craft knife that I love to death that I dulled the edge out on after some time using it. Any ways I bought white gold after trying some other brands of compounds that didn't really work as well as I hoped. I love this stuff
I have never had something finish my sharpening process as good as this. I can see my reflection on the cutting part of my blade due to the shine. Stropping leather (scrap) with this stuff allows me to keep my blade in good shape without having to put it on a stone (unless I use the blade heavily). My knives are always shaving hair sharp now.
Works great
Works great, gave my grizzlys and knifes a mirror finish quickly.
Don't know what I did without this stuf

Now I just barely have to brush by the hair and it comes off. Not only that but it puts on an extremely smooth, bright edge. I can't waite to see what a broadhead sharpenned with this stuff does on game.
This would work for your file like the chalk will to keep it from clogging with shavings.
The manufacturer does not list that information unfortunately. I have used this with excellent results on my broadheads and knives.
