Ok, I will be honest. I like sharp knives. I purchased this product to use with the Work Sharp Guided Sharpening System. I am sure this product would work great with any stone (that's not a water stone) and I can say that it takes a Good quality Diamond stone up a full notch in its ability to sharpen a blade. A superb product.

I've been using this lubricant for years. It is exceptional for sharpening heads like woodsmans and elites on diamond and ceramic stones. Raises metal shavings and keeps stones clean for optimal sharpening surfaces. I've found nothing better for my stones. What makes it even better is that I use it around my wood shop to condition planner, bandsaw, and table saw metal tops and… read more prevents rust on them and even spray it on armguard and other leather archery items to condition and protect them. So there are many other uses for it other than just a sharpening lubricant.
