I ordered two of the bows along with the tool kit and stringer. Spent a few days building them with a friend who has never used a bow. Both came out fine and there are now two more beginner archers.

Technically yes, but the final tiller is left to the customer. So though they could be shot, there is still work left to be done for long term use.
