I wouldn't buy again!
Had trouble with the adhesive pad furnished. Had to use my own double sided foam tape to get it to stay on the bow. Held the arrow fine, but does not "spring" back out of the way when it is released and made contact with fletching.
Always ready for the shot
Perfect for when you're sitting in a stand or a blind and always having an arrow nocked ready to go. Releases off the arrow easily when drawing, works with carbon arrows, and if you're shooting large diameter cedars, just drill out the center a little if it's too tight. Excellent product and long enough for those thick traditional bows and stays put very well (remember to clean… read more the area you're sticking it on with a little alchohol beforeattaching the double sided tape).
Fell off in the first day of the hunt
I fell off the first day of the hunt last in the world
Not good, the double sided tape provided
double sided tape will not stick to the rubber.
Too stiff/made noise releasing arrow
I found the product to be too stiff and it made noise as the arrow was being drawn back.
Very stiff, cheap plastic
found it to be very hard plastic, not very flexible, had to trim it so it wouldn't grip so tightly. would not purchase again.
Sufficient for the money
Works as it should for keeping the arrow on the bow when hunting.
Too hard?
Do not use with Axis arrows. It will not let them go as you draw, but will slide down the shaft- throwing your arrow who knows where. Cost me a deer in early season, but my fault- I should've tested it!
Not exactly what i need
I tried a couple but the ahesive was no good and the plastic holding the arrow is too harder and it slip on the shaft and dn't release the shaft.
Yes it should work with most 5/16" carbon arrows
It work fine with the Carbon Express Heritage arrows that I use. I think that they are 5/16" in diameter. I have never tried it on the very thin carbon arrows, but I do not see why it wouldn't work. The inside diameter of the holder is approximately 0.20" and the opening gap is approximately 0.08". If your arrow nock holds the arrow on the bowstring, there should be no problem.
