The Flemish twist design is easier to adjust in length as it can be twisted tighter when the string stretches, and is easier to attach string silencers, such as fur silencers. B-55 string material is easier on the limb tips with more stretch. Three-bundle style with 15 strands to be rounder, stronger, and abrasion resistant. Center served with black nylon serving. Strand colors are brown and yellow. ...read more

Great products
Works good easy to tune
Good upgrade from endless loop B50 dacron strings
while a very good upgrade , better groups , once stretched it kept brace height consistent . seemed to increase the performance of the bow as well . only drawback i had were the loop ends were to large , didn't fit the string grooves too well , had to take care when stringing the bow . also due to the large ends , the string had a habit of falling off bow tips easily when unstrung… read more , leading to brace height adjustments
That will need a 56" string
The large fits the best.
The AMO length of a bow is from string notch to string notch. In your case it would be 56". If your bow is a recurve the string would be 4 inches shorter than the AMO (52"). If it is a longbow the string would be 3 inches shorter than the AMO (53").
Yes it will. Dacron or B-55 is what you want to use on bow without reinforced limb tips.
Yes, we would recommend the B-55 string as it has more stretch and is easier on limb tips with out overlays
54" is the correct length.
You would need to purchase a string that is 3 inches shorter than the AMO length of the bow. To get the AMO length you would measure from string notch to string notch following the back side of the bow. If it is an older longbow we do not recommend a D97 or fast flight string as the tips are not re-enforced on older bows. Instead choose a B55/B50 or Dacron string.
Is that measurement straight across nock to nock? Or following the back of the bow? As that will impact the string length. Please call/email us (during the week) and we can help select your string.
The string can be twisted shorter once it does stretch, but yes you could get a shorter string to plan for the stretch. You can also pre-stretch before putting on the bow as well.
You would need a 65" length string for it. I'm afraid I cannot add to the order via this method. Please email us at [email protected] and we can add this to your order.
