Awesome bow! A dream to shoot!

Jo

I got this bow as an intermediate bow after I outgrew my first bow. It is an absolute dream to shoot, very smooth, a great grip for any sized hand and the draw is effortless. As for looks, the pictures don't do it justice, so I attached my own. Be warned, some of the other reviews show a rise that is a reddish color, and I don't think 3rivers supplies it anymore. Nevertheless, it read more is still gorgeous, and if you are on the edge of buying this bow, I highly reccomend. You won't be disappointed!

Excellent Bow. Excellent Service

I purchased this bow as a first transition to traditional archery hunting from a compound bow. I purchased the #55 draw and could not be happier. The bow is beautiful and fairly quiet without having done anything other than adjust the brace height a bit. It shoots cleanly and does not seem to have much stacking if any.

I am very pleased with the product and 3Rivers Archery

This is not only looks awesome, but is very silent in shooting. This is a classic!

Be careful what you wish for.

If you Buy a Bear grizzly recurve and it is extremely difficult to draw take it to a trusted archery shop and get them to check the poundage of the bow, In 2014 I purchased a 60# pound grizzly recurve but in reality, it was a 72 pound recurve at 28 inches, Don't wait! you might get burned too.

The limb tips look very delicate, don't order it by mail.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

The limb tips look very weak, I complained to Bear archery about it but they offered me no reassurance that the tips on my new 50# Bear grizzly would stand the test of time. IF YOU BUY A NEW GRIZZ THE LIMB TIPS WILL SHOCK YOU, I LIVE IN CANADA AND COULD NOT AFFORD TO RETURN IT, OR I WOULD HAVE.

Good shooter

This bow is my hunting recurve, and it shoots better than I can. For my 27" draw length, it handles very well: short enough to shoot crouching and kneeling, but is smooth and has enough "up top" to be able to aim. Can't say I like the light color riser shown here, but mine is a dark brown. Looks, and performs, well

Great service

Very slick bow! I do suggest getting a true Flemish string. The string you receive simply does not do the Grizzly justice!

The bows are already sealed so you shouldn't have to apply anything to the bow. You can wax the string once a month or so but that's really all you'll need to do.
