Amazing bow
This is my fourth Fred Bear bow and it was the most expensive. I am comparing it to a Grizzly, AuSable, and Montana. Now I know why the 59' Kodiak is the most expensive of the four. . It is a true gem of a bow. Light weight, beautifully crafted, a pleasure to shoot, fast, and hard hitting. I suspect this will prove to be my favorite. Five thumbs up for Fred Bear Archery for bringing… read more back this classic recurve.
Great Bow
Bite the arrow and get one...
Pictures don't do this bow justice! Shoots great too
Couldn't believe how beautiful this bow was when I got it. Setup was a breeze, and shoots with power and ease.
My favorite bow
I have several bows but this is the one I return to again and again. My bow is 40# and shoots 400 carbons with 145 grain points as well as Bear Razor heads with aluminium inserts with excellent accuracy.
A thing of beauty
Hunting,I love the vintage design,so light in the hand.
This bow is beautiful and shoots great.
Awesome all round bow. Very pleased with this product. I may have to buy another one because my son shoots it all the time
I would suggest putting in a back order for one. We are not getting complete orders from Bear, so though we are getting them in, they are not in numbers where we have extras, or if so they are being purchased immediately. We authorize your card, but do not charge it until the bow ships out to the customer.
It would be in that range yes. You gain 2 to 3 pounds for every inch.
Bear is hoping to be caught up by the summer time.
7" to 8" is what Bear recommends
It will have a flat shelf with a radiused feather rest to shoot off of. The feather rest works great.
I would recommend in a 7 1/2 to 8 inches for the Bear Kodiak 60 inch recurve.
Bear only offers a Satin Finish now.
It is much different this has a lower wrist grip and very narrow almost like a longbow.
Yes when you get ready to order your order bow please give us a call and speak with one of our Technical Expert and we can help to get the weight that you are looking for.
No it is mainly cosmetic.
