Light weight, nice fitting bow. String silencers and hair rest recommended..I bought 45#. I don't use the leather grip that came with bow. Aim well and use good form. Bow is very fast and unforgiving. Know how much draw weight you can safely handle. Slightly easier to draw than a recurve. Very well made and fun to shoot. I just purchased the Ausable 64" 50# draw weight. I used it for 3D this past weekend and it was a great pleasure to shoot. I would buy this again! It looks great also.

I have been shooting traditional archery for many years. I have custom made bows also. I received this bow and have been very happy with the craftsmanship and the way it shoots and how it feels in your hands.Draws smooth and no hand shock and little noise. Wanted a light weight bow for walking around all day. This bow is fast, and very accurate. Wanted a Bear product as they stand by their bows.

This is by far one of the smoothest bows that I have used. This bow is a lot faster than I thought it would be. This is one accurate bow arrows hit exactly where your hand points. Bear Archery hit a home run with this bow

This bow exceeded every expectation. More accurate than my much more expensive Barebow setup, beautiful to look at, couldn't find any flaws. Accurate out of the box, I was shooting great groups using both a three-under gap shooting approach and a split-finger instinctive style, didn't seem to matter, it was always on target.

Are there different finishes on the Bear ausable? I see many that are glossy like my other bows, but my ausable is not glossy and smooth looking.
