Unsure about limb tips
Really nice bow . love the grip. The grey glass is really nice. Limbs are straight . tiller is good . Shoots arrows fast and accurate . And fairly quite . String quality not so good . loops are the same size really small. Top loop should be bigger to slide down the limb while stringing. Looks like the limb tips where the tip over lays meet the fibre glass was sanded a little to… read more deep as you can see in the pictures . Almost back down to the wood core..
Beautiful Bow
I have a 76' Kmag 50# I bought new. Grayling Green. Just received my new KMag 45# and comparing side by side the 76' looks as if it is comparatively over built and it has taken considerable abuse over the years and still functions like new. I shot about 100 arrows through my new one same day it arrived and it shoots very well when I do my part. That's a big "when" because a short… read more bow is less forgiving of form issues than longer recurves. But the performance is there, it's totally up to me to bring it out. I like it for what I do and that is deer hunting woodland thickets. Braces best for me at 8" and I shoot off the shelf, split finger, pure instinctive, 27" draw. I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner only because it's a little less forgiving than a longer bow. So far, and not hardly broken in, I would give it high marks for light weight, handling and portability for ground hunting woodlands or from a tree stand. Has a character of it's own, a really nice bow. Of course we'll see how it holds up to hard use.
Definitely worth it!
This is my second recurve bow very easy for tree stand and blind hunting !
Lower Limb Twist
I was looking for a quality recurve for hunting in close quarters. I have owned several Bear bows, a Lone Wolf custom long bow, and entry level take downs such as the Samick Sage. I decided on the Kodiak Magnum for the 52" AMO, shooting characteristics, Bear Archery history and quality. After stringing the bow, and drawing back for feel I took 2 shots. Unfortunately, on the… read more second shot the string remained attached but spun around the lower limb. Restringing the bow, I noticed the lower limb twisting to the right, and string roll to the left at draw. I will update my rating depending on 3 Rivers response to the issue. I did not expect the quality and performance of my Samick Sage to exceed this Bear Kodiak Magnum.
We can ship to Norway it would have to ship UPS Freight which does cost about $223.99
At this time we do not have an ETA on when Bear will send us new stock.
This is a new look on an old design. It has Artic Gray fiberglass, and the cost is $499.99
That should work great for that bow.Its a smooth shooting bow.
You could pull it back to 31 or 32 but you will experience stacking and finger pinch. This bow would be better suited for someone with a shorter draw to avoid that.
Yes they can be pre-ordered. As for a time frame, we have nothing provided to us to be able to tell you. Sorry.
