Easy and fast to install. The adhesive back eliminates and glue residual. I was concerned that the adhesive may not hold up. It has been a month of practicing in the cold (teens) and snowy weather, and no problem so far.

I was kinda disappointed in this sideplate. It looks good, but it is very thin, and the hairs are very fine. I bought it for a Bear Super K restoration. The color is right, but it is so thin that I really don't think it will hold up to use at all. I won't buy it again solely because it is so thin. It's just OK in my opinion, and I'm looking for something better.

This appears to be as close to authentic equipment as I have found and that is what I was looking for to restore a Fred Bear Kodiak.

I use the calfhair rest in conjunction with the calfhair plate. I feel my arrow leaves the bow quicker than rug type rests I've used in the past. I lay the rest on the shelf and trim with sissors. Couldn't be easier.

This rest is the perfect thickness for hunting. Way better than leather alone or plastic.

Im trying to find a blue arrow shelf rest and plate, and i was wondering if i could dye this a blue color, and it still be useful?? I mean the white can it be dyed and still be used or is there a product that is not adhesive backed that could be dyed?

I don't see why you couldn't dye the white calf hair rest and plate blue using rit dye. Water should not affect the adhesive as long as the temperature is within reason ( under 80 degrees F.). Hope this helps, Dave
