I would buy this again
Smooth sanded wood & easy to stain
Good buy
Easy to put together
I would buy this product again
Looks good
Great dipping station.
Extremely easy to assemble with screw gun, took about 15-20 minutes. Sanded, stained and brushed on some polyurethane and hung the very next day.
Missing screws
It was missing 3 screws but fortunately I was able to find just enough extra screws around the house. It turned out alright and I didn't have the problems others had with it being crooked. Overall I am satisfied for the price I paid.
Great little rack for the price.
It was simple to put together. All it needed was some stain and a coat of poly to finish it. I bought the arrow clips to make a rack and then seen this rack for the price and took the easy way out and ordered one of these racks. Holds my two Samick Red Stag recurves, my wife's Horse bow and the custom recurve bow I made with no problems. I was hesitant to order it from reading some… read more of the reviews but I took a chance since it can always be swapped out if I received one with warped wood. The kit I received was good to go. I picked up some triangle picture mounts at Michael's Crafts store and it has held up so far. Definitely a good buy! I wish there was a good crossbow rack out there too. I guess I will just have to build one.
Easy to put together. Great price.
This rack is a good buy. It is easy to assemble. Just stain it and you are ready to go. I put some plastic over the pegs to keep them from scratching my limbs. Then again a sanding will do the trick as well. This is a handsome bow rack. Easy to put together and its affordable. Its a good buy and a good deal.
As advertised - very good deal
Kit came with all parts, all very good quality, a quick light sanding, two coats of stain (to get color I wanted), agd three coats of spray poly and you have a great way to store and display your bow equipment. I went with only two pegs to hang bows as I'm using two compound bows and installed four 3/8" pine buttons to cover the other peg holes. Looks great on the wall and went… read more from box to staining to assembly to coating to wall in three days - mostly due to drying time.
Met my expectations
I added elastic bands to secure my bows to the posts. I stained with minwax red oak wood finish.
Nice bow rack
display bow. looks good after staining.
It may depending on the specific bow/bows.
I had 3 long/recurve and 1 compound on the bottom. I would assume you could space them appropriately and make it work. Easy to assemble and arrows fit nicely. Kinda pricey but saves time with everything precut. I recommend this rack, assemble on a flat surface to assure it stays level.
I would say yes to the question. I double up two bows on the pegs because they are long enough to handle the width of the bows.
No it will not. It's really designed for recurves and longbows. Compounds are simply too wide. I have four bows on the rack, but all are trad bows.
Assembly means that the whole rack needs to be assembled. The boards are pre-cut and pre-drilled. All the mounting hardware is included. Finish sanding/staining is up to the individual.
it is easy to put together
Depends upon what you are mounting it to, but just dry wall anchors should be sufficient.
Storing bows in this manner should not harm them.
The pegs are 3/8 and the distance from center of the pegs are 8''
There is a vertical distance of 7 5/8" between the pegs, and a horizontal distance of 22 3/8" between the pegs. The diameter of the pegs is 3/8".
Yes the arrow clips in so you can use broadheads
It will hold broadheads just fine, there is a small channel cut along the bottom shelf that both field tips and broadheads will fit in. I think I posted a photo of mine, the four arrows on the right are broadheads, the rest are fieldpoints.
Yes, it will hold arrows with broadheads.
The pegs are parallel with the floor.
Yes, the pegs come out parallel with the floor.
The dowel sticks out about 3".
Three inches.
Yes, it can be stood on the floor or a dresser or desk.
Best mounted but with minor adjustment could be on floor.
Yes, it mounts on the wall and makes for a great display.
yes, but would consider looking at a different rack.
