NICE LOOKING PRODUCT
WELL MADE, THICK BACKING AND ATTACHES FINE.
I would buy it again
great! stuff
I like these, they are effective and smooth looking.
I put them on and like the way they look, feel, and fit. They seem to work and dampen the noise and vibration, also protect the limbs.
Good product that works!
I've used these for over 10 years and they last a long time considering the limbs were well cleaned before applying them.
I would buy this product again.
Bought 2 pairs of these. The adhesive could be better.
Works great in conjunction with the beaver fur silencers.
Between these and the beaver fur silencers, it is great how quiet my bow has gotten.
I CAN'T GET THEM TO STAY PUT!
I usually shoot a longbow and was looking for a way to silence a new recurve a bit more. These are of good quality, but they won't stay where I put them. Need better glue!
Used for short time and removed
I didn't think these were beneficial as far as making the bow more quiet. Plus I had a difficult time getting them to stay in the groove. Maybe it was error on my part but just didn't care for them and took them both off. Gave it a 2 cause quality was good, just not for me.
Adhesive is worse than a glue-stick
Cleaned down the limb ahead of time, but the adhesion came off within a few days due to the force of the string hitting the string groove.
Looks and works great
Make sure you press them down into your string groove and then press down the sides! If you take your time and install them properly they will look great and cut down string vibration a lot! I have had them for months on a bow I shoot daily and they are still going strong... So if you want to keep your bow looking traditional and performing at it's best, these are for you!
As long as you are in brace height then you should not need to use these on hybrid longbows.
You can use them on any poundage bow.
Any draw weight there was no set weight on them thank you
Yes. They are sold by the pair.
Yes, the come as a pair.

The string groove silencers are for helping the string not slap the limbs so hard. The brush buttons are for stopping brush from getting in between the limb an string.
Yes, this is made from calf hair. The adhesive back will not damage the finish. You will just need to clean the residue off when you remove it.
They are 31\2'' x 1''x 1\2''.
We do not carry this product in brown. We do have brown calf hair rest material available in brown that could be used for string groove material. You will just need to cut it to shape. http://www.3riversarchery.com/Bow+Accessories+Arrow+Rests+%26+Plates++Light+Brown+Calf+Hair+Rest+Material_c46_s203_p0_i6089-2_product.html
They are adhesive back. Just a peel and stick application. I recommend cleaning the belly of the limb so the fit is secure and holds for a long time.
You can use Calf Hair string groove silencers by themselves or with string silencers. It depends on how much noise you are trying to quiet. Many people use them with string silencers for the added benefit.
You need to make sure you have them securly in place before putting pressure on them, but they most likely will have some adjusting when the bow is first strung up. You might want to try moving them down a bit lower so not so much of the string is laying on them.
I have had the exact same problem for three sets. It is tiring and I do not know of a good fix. I tried moleskin as a replacement and it held up better but not for too long. The moleskin was old so I am trying a new set now. Maybe the adhesive will be better? So far, all three sets shift constantly regardless of how they are installed. It's a shame because when in place, they do help a ton!!!
You also want to run a smooth object like a quil of a feather down the center(string groove)First and then smooth out the rest of the material. =perfect fit.
