Replaced string on super kodiak
Game changer!!!
I purchased this bow string. Left it on my Samick Sage for two days to stretch, set the nock point and felt like Robinhood when I tried it out!!! Thank you, I am ordering the same string for my Manderin Black Hunter right now! Very nice
I use this string on Yew limbs and it performs very well for
For my needs using with out silencers, it serves me well. All of my friends shoot wheel or cam bows, so I wouldn't recommend this string to them.
Looks good, but haven't used it yet.
Bought as a replacement for my current string, but haven't used it yet.
60" needed winds taken out, 61" was perfect (Bear Montana)
Good feel on draw and shot
This bow string is a great value for the money
shot500 arrows and works great
D97 frays
The D97 that came on the Bear Super Grizzly (50#) eventually started to badly fray at the upper nock. It took lots of arrows, but the same thing happened on the "next two" D97 strings that I installed. I've had the bow for three years. Following the directions of a Bear rep' I filed the groove to give a bit more roundness to the nock, then dipped it in spar thane to make sure… read more it was smooth. Problem 'partially' solved. I'm now trying the Bear Paw fast flight. So far so good.
Good bow string, but not really a flemish twist
First let me say that the string performs well. The only problem is, it is not really a flemish twist string. The string is twisted and braided, and in such a way that it is safe to shoot, but it is not a true flemish splice. I've been making flemish twist strings for years, but I did not have any d97 so I decided to order one instead. It works fine, and performs as it should, but… read more if you are a purist you should probably look elsewhere.
The D97 Flemish bow string is a good choice , you will need a 58" string .
Fast Flight was a similar material from Brownell but they went out of business so Dynaflight is more common.
The D97 string would be a good string as long as you have a newer bow with reinforced bow limb tips .If it is an older bow without reinforced tips I would recommending a B55 flemish string ,https://www.3riversarchery.com/b-50-flemish-twist-bow-string.html .
The D97 Flemish bow string is a good choice , you will need a 58" string .
We can install a nock point on the string but without knowing what kind of rest you have and your release placement we could not guarantee the correct nock height . You may have to take it to your local archery shop to insure proper placement .
I would confirm the bow is fast flight compatible and if it is this string would work well. If you are not sure the B55 option would be better.
Yes you can use this string without issue.
The D97 string are made by actual string length so if your bow is 62 you will want to go with a 58 inch string to achieve the correct brace height.
I would suggest a Rogue spectra flemish twist item # 4245-44
For a 52" AMO you will need a 48" string.
You will need a 60" string.
