DAS™ Dalaa 17" ILF Takedown Recurve Reviews

Solid and Accurate

I shot this bow (and others) at the Compton Traditional. I liked the solid feel of this bow immediately. After getting home I ordered the ILF 17" riser with the foam limbs that gave me a 60" overall length which is perfect for 3D and hunting. The riser was called "copper" color - but came as a hunt ready, flat anodized olive color. The riser anodizing is very durable and doesn't read more seem to scratch (like paint would). I have owned quite a few recurves over the years and this one is the best yet. Plus, I have options of dozens and dozens of limbs, even from other manufacturers with the ILF feature. Service at 3 Rivers was outstanding. I really like all aspects of this bow and 3 Rivers Archery, and I am already planning on a second set of limbs. Good job 3 Rivers!

Quality bow but limb vibration is excessive

I've been shooting custom bows for over 30 years and have never had an aluminum riser. I like all the adjustability of this bow. It took some getting used to but I like it and it is a real shooter with good speed per the chronograph. It is quiet at the shot but then the limbs vibrate for a few seconds. It is very audible. It is a quality piece of equipment and the ILF connection read more is both quiet and cool. The original string was very noisy so I made a 10 strand, 8125 string which was a great improvement, except for the limb vibration.

Nice bow.......however no manual to address the ILF system. The manual received is for the non-ILF version of Dalaa. Currently, I'm wing it until a manual is posted as far as settings go.

What's the highest weight limbs that the dalaa 21 inch riser can handle? I have a long draw, so 55# limbs will pull around 63# at my draw which is perfect for my hunting setup.

Yes it would come with the ILF limb pads only. We do not recommend removing the pad, we normally do that ourselves as it could void the warranty if something went wrong.
