Endless loop design is slightly faster than a Flemish twist, and has extra protection on loops for increased strength. Made of B55 Dacron string material, they are safe to shoot on all bows, especially older models that can not take today's modern string materials. End loops are served with braided nylon for longevity, and center served with bonded nylon for abrasion resistance. ...read more

Excellent string for the intended purpose.
Purchased this string to put on one of the 50" Martin fiberglass bows I'll be using to introduce newcomers to traditional archery. Well constructed. Easy to tune.
Decent bowstring
I shoot arrows for the joy of it and like being outside
Just want needed
Love it. Exactly what I was looking for.
Excellent Performance
Works great on my vintage recurve.
B-50 Dacron
I purchased the B-50 Dacron for a 1968 Herter's that I bought at an estate sale for $20.
Priced right
Needed OEM replacement and these were available
As advertised and prompt service
I cannot compare this to other types of bow string since this type has been all I have used. string arrived in good shape and works just fine. good value
Perfect
I made a pyramid style board bow @72" this string fit perfectly. My bow is 55#@30"
I would buy product again
Durable

Yes this would be the same style just a different manufacturer
Yes this would be the same style just a different manufacturer
Hoyt recommends 3" less than the bow length so I would go with 59"
I would go with a 16 strand to be safe. If the string were to break it could damage your bow.
Given that Dacron is rated at 50# per strand, I have always used a 14 strand on 40-50# recurves. Find yourself the book, 'The Traditional Bowhunter's Handbook' by T.J. Conrads and see how ordering your string an inch longer than the standard 4" shorter than AMO length for vintage bows like yours will allow you to "Fine Tune" your bow. Excellent info throughout his book and I highly recommend it to all who shoot a recurve.
I would go with the 16 to make sure, but should be ok with the 14.
B55 elongates a tiny bit slower than B50. B-55 is 100% polyester with characteristics similar to Dacron, but manufactured in a way that makes it more durable, plus it has less stretch and creep than B-50 or B-500 B-50. Yes, you can use this. This is what we recommend in place of B-50.
very similar both are so the strings have some stretch.
With a recurve you will need to subtract 4" from the AMO and 3" off of a longbow .
60" is what AMO standard recommends. If you do your own fine tuning, as described in 'The Traditional Bowhunter's Handbook', by T.J. Conrads, you can get a 60.5" or 61". The additional length will allow you more flexibility in adjusting fistmele (brace height), which is amazingly critical in fine tuning for accuracy.
I have purchased many of these in many sizes over the years and have never...never had an issue w/the loops fitting any of my recurves or the recurves of others. I don't recall having an issue of any kind with these strings.
You will want a string that is 3 in less than the measurement from string groove to string groove longbow and 4 inches less for a recurve. The double loop bow string is a great string that should work fine for you.
If the total bow length is 62 inches you will want a actual string length of 58 inches. If you are not sure you will want to measure the bow from string groove to string groove on the belly side of the bow and follow the curves of the bow and then subtract 4 inches from your measurement and that will be your string length.
Our string are not sold by AMO lengths you will want an actual string length of 57 inches for your 60" Atmos longbow.
The loops on this string may not fit your Korean bow. These are loops for longbows and recurves
