Easy to attach to your flemish jig and will keepthe spools organized. Not that much easier than just holding the spools of string in your hand

So I picked one of these up to accompany my jig board. Looking at the instructions it seems as though the 2 boards that connect the jig to the "spooler" are to be installed "upside down"? is that correct? should the curved edge be underneath? The pi

The two attaching boards should be assembled so the curved edge is down. The curved edge on the “spooler” should be up matching the string jig. The pilot holes are counter sunk ¼” and attach with a 1” screw and should penetrate about ½”. You could countersink them deeper and there is still is enough material that they should not exposed from the top side of the spool holding board.

is this flemish sting board good for making strings all long, recurve, and compound bows?

The Flemish string board is good for making string for all recur 12 years ago

The Flemish string board is good for making string for all recurves, longbows and selfbows. Compound bows require a differently constructed string that is not Flemish twisted, so it would not work for those bow strings.
