Yes the best
does the job
Grobet Files are the ones to use.
The file fits the Woodsman broadheads effectively and other blades as well with a nice wide profile that offers better surface contact than most files and can bring back that edge in a hurry.
Excellent
Excellent really fixed up my banged up broadheads got them back straight and solid!
Very easy to use and puts a great edge on my zwickeys!
Very easy to use puts a great edge on my broadheads!
Very, very effective
When you understand the right angle to operate, then with little movements you achieve the best result
Grobet file cheep and effective
This was the first file I have used. I found it to be effective even for a novice. The blade sharpened well and took a nice hone when run over a diamond stone.
Very good quality
Worked great on making a level cutting plane on my broadheads. Then I polished up on a fine diamond stone, then hone on some leather to get a clean shaving edge.
Not wide enough
The 12-inch file is not wide enough to sharpen a 145 or 160 grain snuffer by laying the file flat on a table and moving the broadhead across it. These broadheads are wider than the file.
Get the big one.
The file teeth cut very easily allowing you to vary the amount of metal removed by changing the pressure used on the broadhead. No doubt the finest, most uniform file I've ever used. If you get the large size, you can handle two adjacent edges of any three blade head by simply placing the head on the file and drawing down the length of the file. This means the entire cutting… read more length of the cutting edges are in contact with the file for the whole stroke virtually eliminating any front to back or side to side rocking motion that can occur when using a smaller file and drawing across the broadhead edges.
Files
Great product and even better service. Delivery is always prompt.
I would use an Accu sharp thin touch it up with a JewelStick. Thats the fastest way to do a 2 blade for me.
Go to youtube and search for sharpening broadheads , good videos to watch.
For two blades I prefer something like the accusharp gets them very sharp and is way easier and faster Sent from my iPhone
These work very well. They're not a grinding wheel, but they're something you can take to hunting camp and count on having very sharp heads. I'd buy them again. - Art
Yes we carry all three files.
The 6" file is 1/2" wide. The 8" file is 3/4" wide. And the 12" file is 1 1/8" wide. It is a little too narrower to sharpen both blades of a Snuffer.
There is no difference in cutting power it is just size preference.
